"I guess you're Umbra" - said Cloud with a frown as he rattled his neck - "This is perfect, I got both for the price of one, I guess by taking possession of Amanogawa's body, it means you're now trapped in it? Right?"

Cloud didn't say anything else, he simply ran against the possessed hero, only to back away when he felt a change on the ground, some bones had come out of the place where he was before, a similar situation to what had happened during his first encounter with Eri Nakamura - "You can steal the powers of your victims."

Cloud didn't respond, he simply started walking in the direction of the possessed hero. His weapons had returned to his inventory because he had decided to do things differently, seeing that the greatest danger coming from this enemy was elemental attacks, and that he could counter them with the greatest of ease, Cloud decided that he would use his own hands to enjoy the next few minutes of torture.
Umbra felt a shiver run down his spine as he continued to launch magical attacks, which were devoured one after another. For the first time, he felt he was facing a superior creature, a relentless predator that had him in its sights.
Unconsciously, the possessed hero began to retreat as the blond's steps became faster and faster. No matter how far he retreated, the distance was getting smaller and smaller.
Slowly, black scales began to emerge on Cloud's arms as his face darkened. Yes, he couldn't use his full transformation, but entering [Dragon Force] was extremely easy.

Cloud said nothing in response, he again walked against the possessed hero, only to frown when he felt something liquid on his feet. Slowly, he looked down and noticed a small puddle of black water - "What is this?
It was Umbra's turn not to answer, the body slowly began to turn liquid as the sound of something breaking could be heard.
Cloud frowned as he saw this before preparing to walk back to where his opponent was, only to notice how his legs were trapped - ". . ."

Cloud was silent as he watched the dark mass seem to have gone still, at which point he felt his mobility return.
Seeing that there was nothing unusual about his body, Cloud walked over to where the dark mass was, which slowly disappeared, revealing the body of Kouki Amanogawa, which seemed to be twisted at angles that shouldn't be possible, and what was more frightening, the boy seemed to be fully conscious by the multiple grimaces of pain he was showing.
Cloud stared at him silently as he listened to him ask for help - "Why should I?"
"W-We're... colleagues..." - Kouki replied while vomiting blood - "I did... what I did... because I was being influenced by Umbra..."
Cloud fell silent before letting out a laugh - "I see, makes sense."
Kouki smiled slightly as he saw that he had managed to convince the blond, though his expression changed when he felt something piercing his chest - "Why..."
"That doesn't change anything" - Cloud replied as he used the dark sword to pierce through his heart, though when he did so he noticed how the presence of the sharp weapon had disappeared, turning this weapon into nothing more than an ordinary sword - "At least now you can rest"
Kouki vomited blood before slowly closing his eyes, he never thought he would die so soon.
Cloud was silent as he began to sniff the place, or rather the sword, he wanted to find the trail Umbra might have left behind.
"You killed him so quickly?" - Yue asked as she walked over to Cloud and looked at Kouki's body, only to frown - "No, he's still alive, in fact, he looks like he's suffering from the exsanguination."
"I don't care, I have more important things to do now" - Cloud replied as he sniffed again, only to smile slightly and run in the direction of the north, though not before asking the girls to get everything ready for the last battle.
The girls looked at each other before looking at Kouki, who was writhing on the ground.
"I think we'd better finish him off," said Shea with a frown, "I know he deserves it, but I think we should be better than him."
Tio thought silently before nodding - "Ok, let's do it.... Do you agree, Yue-san?"
"Yeah, I don't want to risk him surviving if we leave him alone" - Yue replied as he made a hand motion and created a blood stake that pierced the boy's head, only to frown when he noticed that there wasn't too much blood left inside, he could even feel the absence of mana - "Umbra escaped with everything he could, though leaving his physical form behind will make him much weaker than being inside this human's body."
Tio looked at Kouki Amanogawa as she shook her head - "Let's keep his body in the inventory to prevent problems."
"Sounds like a plan" - nodded Yue as she made Kouki's body disappear, only to start thinking about what was to come now that they had eliminated all the problems before they could start the last battle - "Come on, we have to go back to [Orcus]"
"Ok" - nodded the girls as they walked towards the entrance of the labyrinth.

When Cloud reached his destination, he saw how Umbra's scent and aura had disappeared in this place, but he didn't seem to be anywhere to be found. Still, he decided to use his earth magic in order to move the ground and make sure his prey wasn't hiding there, ending up with the same result - "Did he create a false trail?"
