[Where am I?] muttered Umbra as he felt himself slowly regaining consciousness after being sucked into a strange portal.
"You didn't expect this, did you, Umbra?" - asked a voice full of madness - "To be defeated by that irregular and reduced to just a weak body as a vessel for your soul?"
[Ehit...] - muttered Umbra neutrally, only to feel the body being imprisoned by something.
"Thank you for showing yourself, Umbra, if it wasn't for that, I wouldn't have been able to find a way to regain some of my strength" - Ehit said with a huge, sadistic smile.
[You bastard!] - Umbra snarled in fury, though it's expression quickly changed to one of terror when it felt that it's power was not enough to break free from the mad god's grip - [Let go of me!]
"Of course" - Ehit replied calmly as he followed the instructions of the fallen god, who promptly hit the ground, though to his terror, he saw the mad god's foot appear right above his head, exploding it into hundreds of shards of black liquid.
Ehit let out a laugh as he opened his hand, absorbing all the liquid fragments, forming a viscous sphere of black sludge, which he quickly devoured.
Umbra's cries of anguish echoed through the mad god's dimension as her "ego" slowly disappeared.
Ehit continued to laugh madly as he felt his divinity shard revive slightly - "This is not enough, but there is no other creature I can absorb to regain my divine power, unless I release the sealed monsters, which will quite possibly kill me before I can absorb them..."
The mad god frowned slightly as he thought about this, more so when he noticed that his recovery hadn't been as great as he thought, possibly due to the Umbra's deplorable state - "I guess my last chance, is to find Alba and devour him, the problem is that slippery bastard is nowhere to be found."
Ehit had been constantly searching for his former subordinate.
"Is he inside a maze?" - Ehit muttered as his frown sank even deeper - "If so, then I don't think I can recover enough to face the irregular... unless..."
Ehit walked slowly towards a pedestal and looked at the strange red orb that was resting on the strange greyish construct.
The mad god remembered the strange voice that had contacted him, a voice that still brought back a bad feeling, though he had to admit that this was the best option he had now that his life was in danger.
Without further hesitation, the mad god took the sphere and placed it in his mouth, only to feel a huge surge of energy rush through every inch of his body along with a euphoric feeling.
Ehit could contain himself no longer and let out a mighty laugh as the colour of his body began to change to a crimson one, though this was not like he really cared now that he felt omnipotent.
"Come at me, you irregular! Come at me and let's get this over with!" - Ehit exclaimed as he let out a loud laugh - "Let's see if you can stand against my power!"

Cloud frowned slightly as he felt a bad feeling, as if something had changed for the worse.
"Are you okay?" - Yue asked as she looked at the blond.
"Yeah, I just felt something strange," Cloud replied as he shook his head and looked around, "How are the preparations going?"
"Everything is under control, we already have our equipment ready, as well as the ammunition, I even used the little free time to be able to experiment with new mixtures to boost the destructive power of your explosives" - replied Yue as she shook her head.
"Wasn't that dangerous?" - Cloud asked with concern.
"No, remember I'm practically immortal thanks to my enormous vitality and regeneration" - answered Yue honestly - "Not to mention I use a barrier every time I try a new mixture"
Cloud was silent before nodding - "I understand".
After making sure the vampire girl was in perfect condition, Cloud walked in the direction of where Tio was, who was reading all the books in the library - "What are you looking for?"
"Oh, it's you, Cloud" - smiled Tio as she tilted her head - "I was looking for as much information as possible about Ehit, seeing that the liberators lost the battle, they must have written somewhere information about some of his abilities, though so far I haven't found anything..."
"And you didn't ask about this to Lyutillis and Meiru?" - Cloud asked as he raised an eyebrow.
"Oh, I did, but they're the same way" - replied Tio as she shook her head - "Each of the liberators had a specific job, in Meiru-san's case, his job along with Lyutillis-san was to rescue the prisoners, Vandre-san was in charge of protecting the intermediate defense line while the others initiated the attack with everything, leaving Miledi in charge of the defense..."
Cloud frowned, though this was something he should have expected after hearing about the prisoners - "I understand..."
"Oscar-san was one of those in charge of organising the attack, that's why I thought I would find information about Ehit's special abilities, but unfortunately all I've found, is information about the angels" - Tio replied with a frown - "And what's worse, I haven't seen Yue-san's uncle anywhere."
Cloud's expression changed to a frown because he didn't expect this - "No one has seen him?"
"No, not even Yue-san" - Tio replied as she shook her head - "And while I don't want to think the worst, it's obvious that god escaped".
Cloud was silent before clicking his tongue - "I understand, I'm going to see if I can find him, if I don't come back in half an hour, it means that son of a bitch escaped, so we'll ignore him for now"
"Understood" - nodded Tio as she rested her eyes back on the mountain of books she had left before letting out a her heavy sigh.
"I promise I'll make it up to you when I finish this" - Cloud muttered as he walked out of the library.
Tio smiled slightly as she began to lick her lips at the promised reward.

"This isn't going to work either," Lyutillis said with a frown as she started to think, "My nature magic is ineffective in god's territory."
"I know, that's why we need to concentrate on using our ancient magic" - Meiru replied as she started to think - "The other thing would be to create a modification of your magic, or lastly have Cloud use his ability to create a concept that will benefit you."
"That sounds like a good idea" - nodded Lyutillis with a small smile - "If I managed to create a pocket dimension with a garden, I could use my techniques directly from there..."
The more she thought about it, the more excited she got with her ideas.
"It's good to see that you liked it, now we have to propose this idea to Cloud" - Meiru said while folding her arms.
Oh, no need, I heard it all" - Cloud replied as he entered the two women's room and looked at them curiously - "It'll take a little time, but you can consider it done".
"Thank you!" - Lyutillis exclaimed with a huge smile before giving him a kiss on the cheek - "Then I'll pay you back along with Tio-chan ~"
Cloud's expression crumbled because he honestly didn't want to think about what the two masochistic women in his group were capable of. Yes, Tio and Lyutillis knew how to control their urges, but now that they were finally going to be free, it was obvious that they would also let their desires have free rein to control their actions.
"Congratulations, I guess," Meiru said as she let out a laugh, "I thank you for making her focus on you, so at least I don't have to keep putting up with all those annoying situations where she asks me to abuse her."
Cloud gave her a blank look, though he didn't answer her, he simply left the room because he still had someone else to visit, not to mention he had to create a means to be able to connect reality with the pocket dimension he planned to deliver to Lyutillis.

"No, that's not it..." - Shea muttered as she frowned - "I haven't reached my limit yet..."
The rabbit girl was deep in thought, or at least she was until she acknowledged the presence of a familiar person - "Cloud-san?"
"What are you doing?" - Cloud asked curiously.
"I'm trying to make [Limit Break] evolve, but I can't reach my final limit" - Shea replied with a frown.
Cloud was silent as he started to think - "Maybe you need to expend all your energy first, and then use [Limit Break]."
"Oh, I hadn't thought of that" - Shea replied with a smile as she resumed her training.
Cloud watched her for a few minutes before watching as the girl began to gasp for breath.
Seeing that the time had come, Shea used [Limit Break] at full power, in the process causing her to feel chains begin to break one after another.
