Sam Patrick immediately invited me to the mansion. He was talkative along the way.
"Brother, how did you survive?" Sam asked.
"Well, I spent a few days struggling in the sea. Then I was rescued by a cargo ship from the Skycrest Nation," I said to him.
Sam Patrick was not naive. He knew about the Skycrest Nation as well. It was the nation bordering the sea.
A few minutes later,
In the hall, we both sat facing each other.
"Who told you I was dead?" I asked.
Sam Patrick then replied, "Lord Gary returned from the sea trip and informed us."
Hearing that, my heart turned cold. The old man wouldn't have expected that I would survive. I didn't show any reaction on my face.
I said, "The old man tried his best. But he couldn't save me. He was focused on the other passengers."
Hearing that, Sam sighed in relief. He had been worried that some trickery might be involved.
"I'm leaving today," I said to him.
Sam was taken aback.
