"You." Princess Elena's icy voice echoed through the crypt. "What are you doing here? This place is off-limits."
Her sharp gaze swept past Ren and landed on the ancient casket behind him.
For a heartbeat, the princess froze.
Her emerald eyes widened in horror.
"T-This..." she whispered, her voice trembling. "This isn't Queen Aurora!"
The illusion had vanished.
With the enchantment broken, the body resting upon the ornate stone sarcophagus no longer resembled the legendary Elven Queen. Instead, an unfamiliar elven woman lay peacefully within the coffin, her features serene yet completely unknown. Whatever magic had concealed her true identity had been dispelled the moment the casket was opened.
Princess Elena slowly turned toward Ren, disbelief and anger flashing across her face.
"You..." she hissed, raising a trembling finger at him. "What have you done?"
Ren immediately lifted both hands in surrender.
