It did not appear as a sword.

Instead—

A single black thread materialized before him.

Thin.

Silent.

Almost invisible.

Yet the instant it appeared…

The surrounding space trembled.

A faint ripple distorted the air itself.

The weapon known as the Eclipse Marionette was a soul-bound relic forged from the remains of a dead celestial puppeteer. Once bound, it became one with its wielder's soul, evolving according to their growth, emotions, and killing intent.

[ Hidden Condition Met ]

[ Future Synchronization Rate Unlocked ]

A freezing sensation spread through Alois' fingertips.

Then—

Thin black threads slowly emerged from the tips of his fingers like living serpents.

They swayed silently through the air.

As if they were breathing.

Alois stared at them in utter disbelief.

His heart pounded violently inside his chest.

These rewards…

They were beyond anything he had ever imagined.

A hidden class.

A legendary soul weapon.

A skill capable of limitless growth.

Even the title alone was enough to make players lose their minds.

For a brief moment, excitement overwhelmed him.

His thoughts raced toward the future—

Powerful enemies.

Legendary dungeons.

Fame.

Strength.

A life unlike anything he had ever known.

But before his imagination could run any further—

A series of urgent notifications suddenly rang inside his mind.

Alois froze.

His eyes widened as he immediately opened the system interface, expecting yet another reward.

Instead—

The blue screen flickered violently.

[ Error... ]

The black threads around his fingers abruptly stopped moving.

Then—

A sharp metallic sound echoed inside his skull.

[ ERROR ]

[ ERROR ]

[ ERROR ]

The notifications began glitching uncontrollably.

[ Class Assignment Failed ]

[ Attempting Recovery... ]

[ Recovery Failed ]

[ Unexpected Anomaly Detected ]

The atmosphere around him instantly grew heavy.

Distorted symbols flooded his vision as the system windows flickered like broken glass.

For the first time since entering Genesis Frontier—

The System itself appeared unstable.

[ Warning ]

[ Target Does Not Meet Known Classification Standards ]

[ Warning ]

[ Soul Pattern Corrupted ]

[ Warning ]

[ Foreign Existence Detected Within Host ]

Alois' body went rigid.

A cold chill crawled down his spine.

The black threads attached to his fingers began moving on their own.

Slowly.

Deliberately.

Like living creatures sensing danger.

[ Voidwalker Class Initialization Failed ]

[ Cause: Unknown ]

[ Recalculating... ]

Crack.

A fracture spread across the floating blue system window.

Then another.

And another.

Like glass splintering apart.

[ Critical Error ]

[ The Rewarded Class Has Rejected the Host ]

[ Critical Error ]

[ The Host Has Simultaneously Rejected the Class ]

Silence.

Absolute silence.

Then—

A new message appeared.

Unlike the others, this one was deep crimson.

As though written in blood.

[ Hidden Condition Fulfilled ]

[ A Being Outside the System Has Interfered ]

[ Emergency Protocol Activated ]

The world suddenly darkened.

For a brief moment—

Everything vanished.

And the instant his heartbeat stopped—

A final notification appeared before him.

[ Unique Class Generation In Progress... ]

The moment the message appeared—

Time itself seemed to freeze.

The wind stopped blowing.

The distant sounds of battle disappeared.

Even the flickering system windows hung motionless in the air.

Then—

The crimson notification began to distort.

Not glitch.

Distort.

As though something beyond the System was forcibly rewriting reality itself.

[ Unique Class Generation In Progress... ]

[ ERROR ]

[ Existing Data Cannot Be Used ]

[ ERROR ]

[ No Compatible Records Found ]

Suddenly—

The black threads connected to his fingers pierced into his skin.

Blood dripped onto the ground.

Yet strangely—

Alois felt no pain.

Instead—

Whispers flooded his mind.

At first they were faint.

Barely audible.

But within seconds—

Thousands of voices screamed inside his head.

Crying.

Laughing.

Begging.

Screaming.

His knees slammed into the ground.

"Ghh—!"

Veins bulged across his neck as unbearable pressure crushed his skull from within.

One by one—

The blue system windows shattered around him.

[ Warning ]

[ The Host Is Experiencing Forced Synchronization ]

[ Current Synchronization Rate: 3% ]

The threads suddenly moved violently.

One wrapped around his arm.

Another coiled around his throat.

More emerged from the darkness itself.

As if something beyond reality was trying to drag him somewhere.

Then—

He saw it.

Beyond the shattered fragments of the System…

A giant eye slowly opened within the darkness.

Watching him.

Ancient.

Cold.

Inhuman.

The moment Alois met its gaze—

The whispers vanished.

Completely.

[ Observer Detected ]

[ Observer Recognition Confirmed ]

[ Authority Interference Accepted ]

The crimson screen turned pitch black.

Then slowly…

New words appeared.

Not blue.

Not crimson.

Pure white.

[ Class Created ]

Silence consumed the world.

His heartbeat thundered in his ears.

Thump.

Thump.

Thump.

Then—

The final notification appeared.

[ Hidden Unique Class: Fateweaver ]

Description:

A class that should not exist.

Those who become Fateweavers are beings abandoned by destiny, yet capable of manipulating its threads.

They exist outside the natural order of Genesis Frontier.

Neither chosen nor rejected.

[ Warning ]

This class has been sealed from all System Records.

[ Warning ]

Revealing this class to higher entities may result in immediate extermination.

The moment the final notification disappeared—

The black threads connected to his fingers slowly calmed.

As though they had finally found their rightful owner.

Silence returned.

Alois slowly lowered his trembling hand and stared at the threads dancing around his fingers.

Then—

A smile appeared on his face.

Not a smile of joy.

Not excitement.

But realization.

Because deep inside—

He finally understood something terrifying.

The System itself…

Was afraid of him.
