Xun Yan brought a battalion of one thousand inquisitors back to the upper world. They first returned to the capital, Gaius City, to get all the information they needed about the Demon Savior.
They went to the Trinity Complex, which consisted of three sacred buildings.
The most majestic, the one at the center, was the Divine Throne, where the Divine resides. Only the Hierophant and Lord Inquisitor could enter and leave this building. Servants were inside, whose tasks were to keep the place clean and serve the Divine, but they were no different from lifetime prisoners. When someone was brought to tend the Divine Throne, only in death would they leave the service.
