The moves that Lin Fan made were just too powerful for Xiao Mu, so it would keep falling into a daze.
When Xiao Mu fell into a daze, it wasn't just a simple daze that lasted a few minutes. This was a daze that would last for several minutes at a time which gave Lin Fan time to move around.
