My birthday came and Jack was furious. It was my birthday party that he was causing a scene. "You traitorous bitch. You would rather be with a bloodsucker than one of your own." He yelled. Everyone froze. They were not expecting him to talk this way.
The room went dead quiet with no sound, as everyone looked at each other. No one dared move a muscle as the two glared in silence at one another. "I challenge you, to a fight. The winner gets Mika." Jack growled. April's eyes glared red and her fangs came out with her long sharp claws. Glad the only human here was Andy. I put my hand on her shoulder to pull her to her senses. "I can choose for myself and fight for myself. Jack, I do not love you. I love her now, please leave." I declared. "I can make you love me." He reasoned. Everyone let out a boo. "Leave now." I growled. Luke Miller grabbed Jack and left the party. Poor Lucy, she is stuck with that boy.
Everyone left soon after the fight ended. April apologized multiple times for her behavior and tried to explain why she acted like that. She had been having nightmares about Jack taking me away from her. I hugged her in response. "Come with me. I have you something." I said, heading to my room. "For me? It's your birthday, love. Not mine " She laughed. Her birthday is actually on October third. But I can't wait that long. She sat on my bed while I picked up a tiny box. I handed it to her and before she could speak, I told her to open it. Inside was a sterling silver princess cut diamond ring. I had worked hard on odd jobs over the summer for it. After I decided she was the one I wanted to marry. "It's a promise ring. Do you like it?" I asked nervously. She could only nod before hugging me. We spent the rest of the school year there till I graduated. We married and welcomed our son to the world. He was part werewolf and part human from his biological father, Andy. We named him after my father and his, Michael Andy Kree. April took my name too. We became a happy family and lived happily ever after. Except for a few annoying comments from our now Alpha, Jack Jr occasionally. Other than that, we are happy and in love.
