Jiang Congtang, in Spirit Immortal Sect, the days that followed weren't without instances of the strong bullying the weak, but he managed to evade them!
Secretly practiced his family's martial arts; although the spiritual energy here wasn't as thick as on other peaks, it was still enough for cultivation.
The secret manuals issued by the Immortal Sect were merely simple introductory guides.
Jiang Congtang chose to lay low here, investing the resources distributed each month into his cultivation.
He kept a low profile, and didn't socialize with others!
Those people couldn't snatch anything from him, and bullied him, even beat him.
Through it all, Jiang Congtang endured silently.
In the second year, he was able to take on missions, but at that time, he had only reached the Qi Refinement second layer and hadn't learned any spells yet.
The minor spells he used in the village before were talismans; though he couldn't use small spells, he could use talismans.
