In the third floor of the Academy a man stood at his desk. His hands fold behind his back as he stare outside.
The Academy have five floors. The first floor is for the dorms for both boys and girls. The second floor is for the first and second year students and the third floor is for the third years. The principals office along with the teachers quarters is located there. As for the fourth and fifth only people with an high position in the Academy knows what's up there.
On the third floor the principal look outside to see the open field that occupied over three hundred students. Only two hundred have completed the test which took over 4 hours.
Far away, about ten miles from the field is the ocean and hundreds of miles more is an huge island.
The Academy is located on an island a bit far away from China. On this island the monsters known as parasites roam about on the outskirts.
There are monsters from ground to air creatures. Some looks like dinosaurs a million years ago while some looks like insects that seem to evolve past their previous size.
The Academy is located in the middle of the island and as much as the monsters try to get there they couldn't. For a barrier protects it causing weak monsters to either blow up into pieces or be force back twenty steps away from the barrier.
Just as the principal was gazing outside his office door opens revealing a woman.
"Miss Zi." The principal spoke not looking behind him to see who came to visit his office.
"Principal." The woman greeted him with a slight bow.
"What would you like to discuss to me about today?" Knowing that this teacher only comes to him when she needs to talk to him about something important he choose to get to the point.
Yes, she is a teacher. She was the one who was on the training grounds instructing the students in doing stretches.
She is from Jia Family. Another family of the Ancient Families. Ranking eighth. The family class consist of only Dancers. A class that specializes in their flexibility and special dances to fight.
Men consider them as a formidable opponent for dancers use their beauty and sexy dances to tempt them, making them lose their focus in battle. Truly... formidable opponents indeed.
Zi Goazong changed from her training gear into a red dress that covers her body yet shows her slender legs at her front. Roses covered parts of the dress. There are also two flowers on her wrist looking like they are attached to a band or her hand.
"Sir, its about a student." She spoke in a serious tone.
"Wei Xu right? The so call incompetent boy from the Qishi Family?" He said with interest in his eyes.
He turn around to face the woman and what he saw made his eyes nearly pop out.
"What a gorgeous dress." He spoke out loud, admiring her style of dressing, causing Zi Gaozang to blush slightly.
"Thank you, but let's get back to the main point. I believe student Wei Xu needs to be punished for almost breaking one of the Academy school rules."
"Punished? I think not. You see we live in a world that can be considered the jungle. You either kill or be killed that's the current world. Its been so before the parasites even came to our world." The principal said sounding righteous yet vicious at the same time.
"Its best if the students can learn early on."
"But sir!"
"Did you see his battle stands though?" The principal changed the subject clearly stating to Zi Gaozang that he will not punish the boy.
"Yes I did. His stands seems to be from one of the Japanese Clans, the Samaria Clan." She sighed knowing she couldn't change his mind.
"Will you send someone to investigate him more?" She asked.
"No need someone is already doing so."
________
Back in the garden Wei Xu was oblivious of the troubles he caused. Well, we can't really say it was caused by him.
He opened the book his instructor gave him. Clear excitement written in his eyes.

"Wow an S rank book! You truly got a treasure this time." Shadow came out reading the book along with Wei Xu.
"It increases speed, erase footsteps and allows you to teleport? This book is truly worthy of an S rank."
Shadow talked excitedly, his chattering annoying Wei Xu.
"You should start practicing!"
"You should start practicing!"
"You should start practicing!"
"I know that!" Wei Xu shouted as he stood up. He started practicing the technique following the movement technique that is said in the book.
Two hours later he mastered the technique and his speed increased by two.
Body Stats :
Strength = 0
Speed = 2
Stamina = 1
Flexibility = 0
Power Stats :
Attributes : Darkness, Lightning
Abilities : Formless Sword Strike

After practicing the Breathing Technique for a day his stamina increased by one.
Although his body stats and mana couldn't compare with most of the students he only began practicing for a day and a half so it could be considered good progress.
Three hours pasted by as he felt like he learned at least twenty-five percent of the Vanishing Steps ability. His speed didn't increase further, but he could clearly feel some difference.
After spending five hours practicing the Vanishing Step it was already night. It was time for him to return to his dorm or else he wouldn't get the chance again.
Looking around he realized he was in his Instructor quarters. He did not see his instructor anywhere so be chose to continue practicing until she arrive.
