Hours went by quickly and the third day began as the sun once more smiled at the world.
Today the Academy Daily News members released another information.
Wei Xu of the Qishi Family almost killed Feng Dongjang of the Zhandou Family.
Soon the news spread to all over the Academy causing an uproar not only among the first year students, but also the second year students as well as the third year students. For such a big incident to happen in the school grounds was quite surprising since it wasn't something to happen often.
In the garden Wei Xu was ignorant of what was going on in the academy for he was still practicing his new technique. While practicing his figure flashed by many times as his body seem to be moving ten steps in just a second.
When he stopped sweat cover his body as he dropped to the floor. His heart beating rapidly as he constantly gasp for air.
After spending a whole twelve hours practicing the Vanishing Steps without pause he stopped improving. He couldn't get out of the twenty-five percent completion.
For the skill twenty-five percent completion means you can travel ten steps in a second.
Fifty-percent completion allows you to travel twenty steps. Seventy-five percent, thirty steps while one hundred percent equal fifty steps. Twenty steps more than when its Seventy-five percent completed.
Of course for Wei Xu, ever thinking of fully mastering the Vanishing Step in half a day is impossible. One year could pass by yet he probably wouldn't be able to get pass the twenty five percent mark.
As for the ability it truly was troublesome. Unlike the skill that is twenty-five percent completed, the ability isn't even five percent. At most he could teleport about five steps back but doing so would use up more than half of his mana.
Its a risk he was not willing to take.
"You've been practicing all night?" Su Mucheng came over after being gone for so long. A Replenishing Drinks in her hand.
"Instructor." Wei Xu greeted, taking the Replenishing Drinks and immediately after drinking it he felt refreshed. His body filled with strength and energy.
"Instructor I may have reach a bottleneck." Wei Xu explained the situation to Su Mucheng.
"You actually managed to reach twenty-five percent?" Su Mucheng raised her eyebrows in shock. She took more than ten days to get ten percent completed so of course she was surprise.
One must know that there are four steps to complete the Vanishing Steps.
The first step is making your footsteps silent as possible.
The second step is making it to make sure no footsteps is imprinted to the ground.
The third step is vanishing without a trace. Making it so that all senses of your body disappear especially your smell.
And the last step is moving on air.
Wei Xu currently only finished the first step. The others he tried but simply couldn't comprehend it.
"With your progress it should take at least an year before reaching the third step as for the fourth if you had an Air Element attribute then it would take you two years to master the fourth step, but since you don't its out of your reach." Su Mucheng came out of her surprise and explained to Wei Xu.
"Wait so instructor does that mean you have the Air Element Attribute?" Wei Xu only have the Darkness and Lightning attribute which is very rare for a person to have two attributes so getting to know someone with different attribute than his makes him a bit curious.
"Yep!" She answered with pride. Clearly proud about her element.
"So why do we have to use ability books to control the elements if we have an attribute for it?" Wei Xu asked another question.
"Attributes doesn't mean you are able to control the element. It just makes it easier to comprehend things that involves that specific element."
"Only someone who evolves to the Realm of Gods can do so." Su Mucheng lowered her voice when saying that.
"Which is impossible right now!" Su Mucheng laughed a bit, "but who knows maybe in the future someone will evolve into one. If so then we could easily take over our lost countries!"
"But if humans can evolve into gods then doesn't that mean the parasites can as well...." Wei Xu mumbled under is breath.
"What was that?" Su Mucheng asked.
"Oh well.."
Wei Xu asked questions after questions in which, Su Mucheng answered them patiently. The way they converse made them look like Student and Teacher.
Now is a good time to talk about how a person evolve.
Once someone reach one hundred body stats in strength, speed, stamina and their specific body stats they immediately evolve. When a person evolve they become ten times stronger.
A person abilities are also increased by ten and they take less mana to be used.
After three evolutions a person will gain special abilities.
When a person chooses or awaken a class one stats is added to their body stats. For instance, if you are a knight then you will have endurance, if you are a mage then you will have intelligence and if you are an assassin or dancer then you will have flexibility.
Wei Xu have flexibility.
"Okay that is enough questions." Su Mucheng sighed feeling exhausted for running her mouth for so long."
"But-" Determine to ask more questions Wei Xu incline to continue their conversation.
"Its about time for your classes to begin you should go!" She grabbed Wei Xu arm as they disappear, reappearing in the Academy halls.
"Instructor Mucheng can I decline the upcoming.." Wei Xu continued speaking only to realize he is in the schools hallway.
When he looked around and saw that she left he sighed. She disappeared again without telling him.
"Shouldn't Instructor class be Knight why does she move like an assassin." Wei Xu sighed.
"Now that I think about it I haven't seen anyone from the Zhaunjing Family." Wei Xu mindlessly said.
"Incompetent Xu!" Just as Wei Xu was moving to his class a male shouted as he came into Wei Xu way startling him.
Before he could react a fist landed on Wei Xu back and bones crack could be heard as mana was used in that punch.
The punch sent Wei Xu flying away, crashing him in a wall, breaking it into bits.
Dust cover the entire hallway as students shout in shock.
