Chapter 186: Waifu Part 1
RAIKEN POV
After receiving permission from Kazuma and the other elders, Raiken and Madara were escorted by Otsutsuki Clan towards the place where they had guarded for centuries.
The path leading there was hidden beneath the main room where it lead to a stair, they descended a long stone staircase illuminated by pale-blue chakra lamps. Sealing jutsu covered every wall, and several barriers activated as they passed, inspecting their bodies before allowing them deeper underground.
Kazuma led the group, followed by Rei, Mon and five other elders. More than twenty guards accompanied them.
Black Zetsu was nowhere to be seen because he had been barred from meeting Kaguya, after knowing that he is the reason the war happen on earth.
Although it irritate Black Zetsu, but facing both Raiken and Madara there is no way he could win them both.. He had protested but to no avail it was useless.
For someone who had waited centuries to revive his mother, being excluded at the final moment must have been torture. Raiken considered that a bonus because his audience livestream donated around 67,000 stars just to see Black Zetsu broke down.

"This place was created by Hamura-sama shortly after Kaguya was sealed," Kazuma explained as they continued walking. "He wanted to observe his mother condition whenever he missed her or felt guilty towards her. ."
Raiken glanced at the sealing jutsu carved into the walls.
"So he created a path that allowed him to see her?" asked Raiken.
"Yes. It works like a one-way mirror. Hamura-sama could see Kaguya, but she could neither see nor sense him."
"Why did he seal the path?" Raiken noticed new sealing jutsu, it is a bit complicated seal but for Raiken he knows well how to decode the seal. Although they didn't reach the room yet, but through the wall, he could see new seal barrier.
"No record explains about the seal," answered Kazuma who also don't know how the seal worked.. "However, we believe he closed it shortly before his death. Perhaps he feared someone would use the connection to interfere with the Six Path Sealing Jutsu."
That possibility made sense, no matter how much Hamura loved his mother, he knew what she had become. Leaving an active connection to her prison would eventually attract someone who wanted to free her.
Black Zetsu was proof of that and thanksfully.
After Hamura died, his descendants built a chamber around the remaining seal and assigned guards to protect it. Day and night, at least three members of the clan remained there everyday.
They were not merely trying to prevent Kaguya from escaping but they were also waiting for the possibility that someone would come to release her.
Raiken looked over his shoulder after noticing someone getting close to him.
Madara walked behind him with his arms folded, he had remained unusually quiet since he came here, although his Rinegan watch every seal on the wall but Madara is an Uchiha after all not an Uzumaki.
"Are you nervous?" teased Raiken.
"No," Madara feel offended with Raiken
"Excited?" This time Raiken smiled while looking at Madara
"No," Huffed Madara.
"Afraid to meet the woman who started your family?" Raiken smile gew even wider
Madara gave him a cold look. "I am wondering how you remained alive long enough to have children."

Raiken just smiled, while Kazuma are going to one of the door.
Kazuma placed his palm against the seal
"Open the first barrier," ordered him.
The guards channelled their chakra into the seals.
One after another, the formations lit up. The stone doors trembled before slowly moving apart, releasing a cloud of ancient dust.
Beyond them waited a circular room large enough to contain several hundred people.
The floor was made from polished white stone, but almost every part of it was covered in sealing formulas. Some were still active, while others had faded with age. Tall pillars surrounded the chamber, each connected to the central formation by thin lines of chakra.
Raiken eyes moved across the inscriptions.
It was a seal designed to observe a distant location. Its foundation was different from modern ninjutsu, but its purpose reminded him of the technique Hiruzen used with his crystal ball.
Raiken crouched and placed his fingers close to one of the formulas without touching it.
The chakra inside remained stable despite being several centuries old.
"Who created this seal?" he asked, although he already knew the answer.
"Hamura-sama," replied Kazuma.
"He was more skilled in fuinjutsu than I expected."
Kazuma expression softened slightly at the praise.
"Hamura-sama personally created the seal and many other seal that we didn't know about, his children added the barriers around it after his death."
Raiken walked towards the middle of the chamber. The largest seal occupied the floor there, formed from rings of ancient characters surrounding the outline of a human eye.
He studied it briefly before smiling.
The observation seal had been deactivated, but it was not broken. Hamura had simply cut off its supply of chakra and locked the final command behind a bloodline restriction.
Raiken pressed his palm against the centre.
Several guards immediately stepped forward.
"Do not activate it without permission," Rei warned.
"I'm only checking the chakra pathway."
"You said the same thing before touching the wall in our guest room."
"I didn't touch that wall. Madara stopped me."
"That does not improve your argument."
Raiken looked back at Madara.
"You've damaged my reputation."
Madara's expression did not change.
"You did that yourself."

Kazuma raised one hand, stopping the guards from surrounding Raiken.
"Can you reactivate it?" he asked.
"Yes. Hamura sealed it using his own chakra signature, but his chakra isn't entirely different from mine."
Raiken carried chakra inherited from both Hagoromo and Hamura. With the system strengthening his bloodline, bypassing the restriction was not difficult.
He placed his palm firmly against the seal.
"Open."
His chakra flowed into the floor.
The outermost ring lit up first. Then the second ring followed, and soon the entire formation shone with pale light.
The chamber trembled, the guards activated their Byakugan, while Madara Rinegan watched the centre of the seal.
