Everyone had turned quiet after listening to Lady Wilma's reasoning. It could have been a lie, but given her state, they doubted. She had just thrown up every dinner that was in her stomach and she looked exhausted as though she had gone through an unspoken hardship.
However, not everyone was pleased to have her stand as though she had more authority even when they were just a commoner. "Lady, would you mind stop making up words to make our Highness worried for no reason?" It was the commander. He stood up. "We are grateful that you saved us but that doesn't mean you can take advantage of this winning situation."
Everyone's gaze was now practically on the commander. After Wilma used her elemental spirit, no demons appeared, and it seemed like it was over. They were taking a break not knowing when will the next attack would be. Every of the knights were aware that this wasn't the right place or time to bring up a made-up word about life and death and not anyone would do it.
