Wendy looked at Ronan Kendrick curiously but didn't greet him. Roy Henderson and Owen Chapman glanced at each other, then called out, "Mr. Kendrick."
"Why did you make so much food? It's such a waste."
"What do you mean, a waste? Everyone just has to eat a little more. Alright, I'll just cook some greens and then we can eat."
Evelyn Ford made six dishes in total: braised ribs with green beans, scallion-fried lamb, big plate chicken, braised fish, red-braised pork, and greens with tofu.
Everyone was a little reserved. Evelyn Ford gave Ronan Kendrick a look, and he immediately picked up his chopsticks and took a bite. Only then did the others pick up their bowls.
"Miss Ford, this is so delicious."
Evelyn Ford ruffled Wendy's hair. "Then you should eat a lot more, okay?"
Wendy nodded and whispered, "He's handsome."
Evelyn Ford glanced at Ronan Kendrick. He was busy stuffing his face with meat, completely engrossed.
"Wendy is pretty too."
"Ford, is your work going smoothly?"
