The woman gently touched the girl's cheek and comforted her softly.

The Kusagakure shinobi suddenly shoved the little girl to the ground and dragged away the red-haired woman.
As soon as she was brought into the temporary medical station inside the camp, a terrible feeling rose in her heart.
The entire room was chaotic.
Seriously injured shinobi were lying everywhere. The battle had been far more brutal than expected, and the fact that Takigakure shinobi had managed to suppress Tailed Beasts was enough to prove how terrifying they were.
"No... impossible! I can't do this! I still have children to take care of!"
The woman staggered backward in terror.
The Kusagakure shinobi grabbed her shoulder with a sneer.
"Children? You should worry about surviving yourself first. Trash like you will only raise more trash."
Nearby, a medical ninja dressed like a doctor shouted anxiously:
"More chakra! Put more chakra into him! Forget it, this one can't be saved! Next room, hurry!"
Several lightly injured shinobi quickly stood up and headed into the next room to recover from their wounds.
The woman could only watch in fear.
Then she saw them.

Soon, not a single clean patch of skin remained on her body. Bite marks covered her completely, creating a horrifying sight.
Her chakra became increasingly violent under their consumption.
The chakra of the Uzumaki Clan was deeply connected to life force itself.
That was both their blessing...

Watching the endless line of wounded shinobi and the woman who was nearly dead, the Kusagakure shinobi grabbed her ears and sneered:

He looked gently into her lifeless eyes.
At the same moment—

The woman seemed to hear the name "Uzumaki."
A faint light finally appeared in her empty eyes.
Naruto raised his hand.
