Whereas, Kenji and Ayase had no idea what happened behind their back after ditching the undead soldiers they swiftly ran back to where Ayato and Kelly were waiting with other students on the stairs and as the stairs is where the safe zone started they all weren't worried much and were waiting for Agawa and others from there they all couldn't see what happened and because of the dim visibility and fog only saw Ayase and Kenji when they were close now looking at both of them carrying unconscious Hiroya and Injure Agawa all of them were nervous and had tense expression after seeing their condition. However, one of the students, seeing her friend missing and quickly asked worriedly.
"Where is Kei-Chan?" Miya, one of Kei's best friends, asked Agawa and Ayase. Ayase after laying down Agawa in a comfortable position and feeding him some mana and recovery potions looked at her and replied soothingly.
"Don't worry she is with Daichi-Kun they should be here soon!" Listening to Ayase reply she and her friends loosened her nerves and sighed in relief. And asked back in her usual chirpy voice.
"Couldn't you have brought her with you? Why did you leave her with that creepo?" Hearing her insult Daichi, Miki frowned and made a displeased face seeing her look Miya's friend Airi elbowed her and whispered in her ear.
"Shut you trap! Now is not the time" taking her friend's advice Miya furrowed her brows but shut her mouth waiting for Kei.
But even after waiting for some time there was no sign of Daichi let alone Kei thinking that something was wrong Miya once again enquired Ayase.
"Didn't you say they were behind you? Where are they?" Ayase frowned too and also started thinking something might be wrong but as they all thought that they saw a silhouette moving fast towards them. Knowing it was Daichi they all sighed in relief but before they could rejoice "GRHaaaaaaa" a roar reverberated around the corridor pouring cold water on their excitement. The students again became tense and took their fighting stance.
At this crucial moment Agawa finally stood up and moved towards Ayase stumblingly and asked in a tired voice "Is everyone safe" Listening to him Ayase instinctly replied "Yeah! We are just waiting for those two and then we will get out of here" Ayato nodded and stood up at the front holding his sword his two hands in an attacking position and started concentrating, looking at him everyone was baffled. Ayase hurriedly asked "What! You are doing?"
