A petite teenage girl with golden curly twin drill pigtails and elegant manners stood in a corner. Short, slightly tousled bangs frame her face, with a few loose strands sticking out around the crown.
Her large, golden brown eyes are looking at the almost dissipated Witch's barrier in the record store.
"Was it a magical girl from outside Mitakihara?"
The dark brown beret decorated with a white feather and blue ribbon ornament tilted slightly back on her head as she lowered her head and stared at the ground.
"It wasn't a magical girl, it was me."
A magnetic boyish voice sounded from behind her.
"Um?!"
Mami instantly tensed her body in alarm. She turned around and looked warily at Adam, who had mysteriously appeared behind her
"Who are you?"
Her golden brown eyes narrowed.
A boy? Then he shouldn't be a magical girl. But what does he mean by 'it was him'?
"Hello!"
Adam waved at her and smiled brightly, his white teeth seeming to shine in the sunlight.
"I'm Adam! The spiritual enlightener of Bianka Durandal Ataegina, the caretaker of problematic girls, the slacker of Saint Freya Academy, the second academic genius to score full marks in the exams, the mentor of the Empress of Thunder, the Nagazora Batman, an all inclusive martial arts master, the nemesis of single older women, the one who devours, the teacher of the strongest Herrscher of history, the righteous hero who helps a dying world, the one who survives harem drama, the master of a shrine maiden, the one who knows the greatness of Yog-Chan, the connoisseur of supernatural monsters, the nemesis of Otto Apocalypse, the traveller of worlds, the strongest male Valkyrie of Shickshal, the one who saves the Far East!"
"Eh…?"
The blond-haired magical girl's expression turned blank at this self-introduction.
"Hero?"
Mami's daze snapped back into focus as she murmured the one thing that she could understand.

"That's more like it." Hearing that, the golden-haired magical girl nodded in both approval and agreement. "Lying isn't a good habit."
'How can anyone be stronger than Magical girls?'
She inwardly shook her head at that thought.
After a pause, the magical girl looked at the boy in front of her:
"So what power did you awaken?"
She's very curious about the power that helped him, a non-magical girl, defeat a Witch.
"I awakened the abilities of explosion and water. Explosion for AoE, and water for healing and crowd control."
As the boy spoke, a spark of golden light and a dark blue water sphere appeared one after the other in the palm of his hand.
"Hmm… You seem like an all-rounder, but it appears you aren't very suited for one-to-one fights." She put a hand on her chin as she said thoughtfully. "I suppose the witch you just killed was weak."
After saying this, a few seconds passed as she pondered in silence.
Seemingly coming to a decision, the blonde extended a hand towards him.
"Would you like to be my support staff and protect Mitakihara with me?"
Mami offered him an invitation with expectation in her voice.
Actually, she doesn't particularly need his abilities. Magical Girls are very durable. And since their soul resides in the soul gem, they can survive a lot of lethal stuff.
For example, she can safely detach her head- like those dullahahs in stories.
Even though she doesn't need him, she's just worried that he'll foolishly go and challenge Witches to one-on-one duels again.
