Bulgae PoV
I lifted my bell cup, the small clay pellet inside chiming softly as the soju swirled. That sound always brought a smile to my face. The liquid burned down my throat, spreading warmth through my chest and washing all my cares away like a river washing mud downstream.
My throne sat above the inner pit of the endless Abyss, its darkness stretching out like a blanket of night. Shadows twisted around me, whispering secrets I'd learned to ignore. This place was my home, but even a home could use some light.
The sound of footsteps snapped me out of my thoughts. I turned my head and saw the big boss approaching me.
The big boss's bull horns caught what little light there was in this endless pit, gleaming like polished gold. One eye glowed with the same metallic sheen, bright enough to make shadows dance around it. A black cloak hung heavy from his shoulders, its darkness seeming to drink in any light that dared come near.
