Amaryllis? Who was that? I frowned as my body tingled. My mana was reacting to the name. I saw impossible towers of strange, gleaming stone, metal, and glass reaching into a dark sky, humming with electricity, but it didn't appear to be mana. Above them, towering among the stars, stood the silhouette of a golden metal giant, its vast form radiant like the sun. Even the world seemed to orbit around it.
The strange, alien images clung to my consciousness like cobwebs to walls, making my head throb with an intense, disorienting ache.
My hands trembled slightly against the haft of my scythe. The name Amaryllis felt heavy, unnatural on my tongue—a life I didn't remember, a burden I hadn't asked for. My mana was still churning wildly in my chest, snapping into strange, rigid patterns that felt both deeply foreign and strangely instinctual, leaving me feeling fragmented and unsettled.
