As Adam settled into his position, he watched more cars roll in, and people fill the space between them, talking to the racers and debating who would win.
"Let's step out and survey the field. I want to make a note of everyone racing," Renee says and steps out; Adam follows after her.
Within minutes, the starting-line runway is filled with people and cars. As Adam sweeps his gaze across the entire vicinity, he counts over 25 cars lining up to race.
He didn't expect so many to participate in this illegal race. The cars that are lining up are all extreme in one way or another. Either they were multi-million-dollar supercars refined for speed, or they were custom jobs that had supercharged engines modified for such illegal races.
Seeing all these extreme cars made Adam's heart pump with excitement.
He could feel his blood rushing through his veins as he imagined the chaos that would take place once all these cars ripped through the city's streets.
