Damien stepped into the territory of the enemy and every vampire in that place became alerted at once. He had found the place after he captured one of their people and made him lead the way.
The vampires stood at every post and some drew their swords while some drew their bows, ready for any attack.
Damien stopped and told them, "Tell my father his son is here to kill him."
The vampires looked at one another and one of them motioned for the one closer to him to kill him. Damien saw the attack coming and he intercepted it immediately.
"Who sent you?" one asked him when he saw that he was being serious. "How many of you are here?"
"I came alone, to end all these. Just go in and deliver my message."
"Who is your father?" he asked.
"The one you serve," Damien told them. "Tell him I have come here on my own."
The vampire at the top jumped down and moved forward. It was evident that he didn't believe him.
