The card game hadn't broken up yet when Jane Sampson grabbed the money and dragged Coco Edwards out to the market to buy a whole bunch of vegetables. Dinner was put together personally by Jane Sampson and the siblings James Carter and Jane Sampson.
Father Carter was very busy; it was rare for him to squeeze out some vacation time, and even then he only took four days off before going back to work.
Jane Sampson booked the tickets for her and Coco Edwards to return to Capital Province on her own. To give James Black a surprise, she deliberately didn't tell James Black.
She was used to her biological clock; at 6 o'clock in the morning Jane Sampson woke up. Seeing Coco Edwards still asleep, she reached out and pushed her. "Get up, we're flying back to Capital Province today, we have to go into the city later to catch the airplane."
Coco Edwards flipped over like a turtle, let out an "ay" sound, and her face was a little pale.
