"Then accompany Dad and have a good time for a few days. When his vacation ends, buy a ticket and come back," James Black listened to Jane Sampson's cheerful response on the other end of the phone, hesitated for a moment, and called out to the woman on the line.
"Jane Sampson."
"Huh?" Jane Sampson was about to hang up.
"Think of me often when you have nothing to do, isn't it sad being alone?" Even James Black felt sorry for himself.
It did sound quite miserable, but...
"Is this your first time being alone?" Jane Sampson laughed a bit unfairly.
James Black chuckled, using his big move, "Come back early, I'll take you to eat hotpot."
Jane Sampson's giggling suddenly stopped.
A few seconds later, she quickly agreed and reminded James Black not to go back on his promise!
James Black knew that no matter how many instructions he gave to Jane Sampson, or how much he played the pity card, it was not as effective as promising to take her for hotpot.
Ha, woman.
