I'm tying the knot.
Even just mentioning that makes me feel strange and unnatural. How would this affect the rest of my life? What will take place? My phone rings, interrupting my cognitive process.
I slackly respond, "Yes," failing to look at the caller ID.
Bella asks, or should I say yells, through the phone, "Where are you Babe? The girls are all getting their nails done."
Bella, it's eight in the morning, please let me at least sleep. Why are they getting up so early? I interrupt myself and take my phone out of my ear to check the time.
I'm not sure, she said. "Just get out of bed and leave your apartment, and meet us at the bridal suite." I dreadedly pushed myself out of bed and moved toward the dressers.
She hummed in agreement and was just about to say, when we were interrupted by a voice bellowing from the background, "Sure, furthermore I'm going to take my sweet time so tell Joshua to just unlock the bridal suite for you.
I can hear my maid of honor yelling angrily, "What do you mean she won't be able to make it?" Bella puts the phone on speaker so I can hear the drama more clearly and lets out a dejected sigh.
Grace completely lost it on the caller and said, "Fay, call someone to be a replacement."
She spat out in anger, "If you want something, go get it yourself. I am not your servant to be ordering around. I am a bridesmaid, and I only serve the bride." After a little period of silence, I could hear whispers bursting out all over the room.
I glance at the phone with disdain as she cries, "HOW DARE YOU. JUST WAIT TILL I TELL BRI THIS. I WILL MAKE SURE YOU GET KICKED OUT."
what my best friend has developed into.
She scoffs, her voice growing distant, "Sure, have fun with that Grace," and then the door slams, signaling that Fay has departed.
Bella, put the phone on speaker," I sternly command as she does.
I say sternly, "I heard everything that happened. Now I don't mind if you guys quarrel and fight on your own time, but this will not happen on my wedding day. Am I clear?"
Before I was pleased, I heard a number of murmurs and a 'yes' traveling across the room.
Bella, please take me off speaker. "Good, and Grace, we will talk about this later," I add.
As I hear the door slam shut, she asks, "Your off speaker, what's up."
I hear an enviable sigh from her as she asks, "Has this been happening the entire time?"
Yep, more threats and fighting from them, she retorted. These females are not making my day any easier with everything going on. I have the impression that I am currently participating in a reality TV show, which I most certainly do not want to be.
I say, "Okay, I'll leave you in charge until I get here. I'm going to the bathroom right now. Have fun," as I walk over to the hook and take my robe off of it.
She responds, "See ya," and hangs up. I take off my clothing and put the phone back on the table before donning the robe. I close the door behind me as I enter the restroom. I have a hard time relaxing my mind as I get into the shower.
I allow the water to pour down my body as a plethora of feelings wash over me. Fear. Excitement. Nervousness.
I finally woke up from my haze when I realized how hot the water was and finished up right away before stepping out of the shower.
I exit the restroom and proceed to the dresser while re-draping in a robe. I soon find something to wear after searching through my dresser and hastily put it on.
I gather a few rings and put on a pair of relaxed running shoes before getting my phone and heading to the kitchen. I elevate my hand as I walk in response to a notice from my phone. Bella texted me, and I discover this after unlocking the phone.

Bella😅😴
How are you doing?
Just getting some grub, really. Why?
HURRY UP, I CANNOT MANAGE THESE IDOITS ANY LONGER.
Jeez, ladies. Okay, I'm heading out.
Now move quickly. I'm on the verge of ripping out my hair and leaving this room. Additionally, Joseph departed the suite before we got there, citing some justification, but his expression screamed otherwise.
He obviously did.
Likewise, bring me some food. I'm poor and ravenous. No one wanted to pay for me even though everyone ordered takeaway.
Gotchya. Do you desire the Donald's?
Yep! Thank you, luv u!
Yes, you only adore me because I always buy you food.
I know 😭

Without bothering to respond to her most recent message, I turn off my phone and open the pantry to retrieve the pancake mix. I assembled the materials for a speedy batter after reading the label.
After turning on the hot stove, I went ahead and washed some strawberries and gathered some chocolate syrup and chips.
I lathered up the batter and whipped up a batch of light pancakes once the stove was hot enough. They were piled up and put on the table by me.
I poured myself a glass of milk and sat down at the table, eating and reading through social media. Before collecting a bag and leaving, I hurriedly finished eating and did the dishes. I chose the shortest route to McDonald's, got in the car, and connected my phone to the vehicle.
It takes roughly fifteen minutes, according to the time I checked. I start the car, sighing in defeat, and start heading in that direction.
-----
I eventually make it to the McDonald's drive-through. Since there was no one in line, I proceeded directly to place my order.
The young man smiles and says, "Hi, what can I get for you today?"
Hello, could you please make me a Deluxe Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich with three Hash Browns?
After a moment he says, "Of course, make your way to the window."
I say "thank you" and step on the gas as I approach the window. He looks at me while holding the bag as the window opens a few minutes later.
He inquires, "A Deluxe Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich and three Hash browns right?" As he passes me the bag, I nod at him.
"That's $10.36. Cash or credit card?"
I say "Cash" and pull out two bills: one for one dollar and another for 10 dollars.
I hand him the change and tell him to keep it. He accepts the cash with a smile.
"Enjoy your day,"
I say, "You too," and then I start my car. I reposition the GPS as soon as I leave the parking lot to direct me to the bridal room, where all the girls are waiting for me.
-----
When I get to the hall's parking lot, I park at the back. I instantly get out my phone and call Bella as soon as I get out of the car.
She asks, her voice evoking relief, "Are you here?"
Yes, she yells in relief as she thumps a door shut and I say, "Please pick me up from the front; I don't want to get lost here."
"Where are you right now?"
I retort, "At the back of the banquet?" She hangs up the phone without even speaking to me.
As I tuck my phone into my pocket, I hear hasty footsteps leading to the back door, which then opens to reveal Bella running out to slam me in an embrace.
She takes my hand and leads me inside, saying, "Your here! Let's go in." I can't help but swoon as I take in the gorgeous hall.
With the picks, Bella Ready did a terrific job.
Before we get to a room with the word "bridal suite" engraved on the door, she leads me down a few halls. Everyone's gazes turn to the door as she opens it.
She shouted, "THE BRIDE HAS ARRIVED," and then there were unexpected claps and grins, which made me look over at Bella, who was simply grinning.
She murmurs in my ear, "There's your kids to take care of now," and for some reason, her tone frightens me a little.
