Just when I was getting lost in my thoughts, I felt a tug on my sleeve.
I looked down and saw Luna tugging on my sleeve.
"Luna, what's wrong?"
I crouched down in front of Luna.
Luna blinked, her eyes flickering between Vincent Sinclair and me, then innocently said, "Are Auntie and Uncle going on a honeymoon early?"
I was taken aback, then felt my face turning an even deeper shade of red.
"Who taught you to say such things!"
I feigned anger and pretended to scold her fiercely.
But Luna was familiar with me, so she wasn't intimidated by my fake anger at all.
"That's what all the grown-ups say! Mom even taught me how to address people!"
She said, blinking her big eyes.
"..."
In the end, I left the old Rivers Family house with Vincent Sinclair, my face flushed with embarrassment.
Vincent followed behind me, laughing quietly, unable to hide his happiness.
I shot him a glare, a hint of threat in my voice, "Is it that funny?"
