When we reached those sections of the road, Vincent Sinclair inexplicably stopped.
I looked at him curiously.
He looked calm and said to me, "Get on."
"..."
I immediately understood that Vincent Sinclair wanted to carry me across this stretch of road.
I looked at my high heels, then at the muddy path, and without hesitation or fuss, climbed onto Vincent Sinclair's back.
I wrapped my arms around Vincent Sinclair's neck from behind, my breath slightly warming his neck.
Seeing Vincent Sinclair steadily carrying me on his back and walking smoothly through the muddy path, I murmured, "Luckily, I'm not wearing a dress today."
Vincent Sinclair chuckled lightly.
We quickly crossed that muddy section.
But Vincent Sinclair still had no intention of putting me down.
I poked his back, "You should put me down now."
Vincent Sinclair's expression remained unchanged, and he said gently, "Afraid you'll get tired after walking for a while."
