Chapter 815 - 815 My Hero Academia: Concerns in Class 1-A, A Dead End, The Commission and Its Offer, and Kaina and Nemuri's Hidden Feelings.

The atmosphere in Class 1-A was somewhat gloomy. Every hero needs the support of the Hero Commission to obtain a license—that much everyone knew. But instead of seeing the Commission as an ally, they saw it as the first authority they didn't want to have problems with, fearing that any misstep could jeopardize their chances of becoming licensed heroes.

Classes continued as usual, but once Cementoss finished his lesson and break time arrived, everyone began expressing their concerns.

"Will Allen-chan be in trouble?" Tsuyu asked while resting on her desk.

Jiro tapped her desk rhythmically. "It's hard to say... Based on what he did, they could either reward him or ban him from obtaining a license in the future."

"Nonsense." Toru slammed her desk. "Didn't anyone see how he saved that plane? It was going down! Are you saying that just because he caused some damage, none of that matters anymore?"

"Some damage?" Ibara smiled with irony. "Didn't he blow up a factory?"

"That was a Trigger factory," Ochako said.

Iida crossed his arms. "It's true that, objectively, Allen's actions had positive results. However, at U.A., we are constantly taught to minimize damage... In that sense, I'm not sure all of his actions can be justified."

"Nonsense..." Monoma scoffed, which angered several people, including Momo, who looked at him coldly.

"Monoma-kun, that's enough of your jealousy. You sound like a child throwing a tantrum."

"That's right," Itsuka sighed. "Just give it up—for your own good."

"Tsk... you're right. I am jealous. Many people in this class don't deserve to be here," Monoma gritted his teeth.

"What did you say?!" Kirishima stood up.

"Isn't it true? Or are you telling me that pervert Mineta is better than Tetsutetsu, Shiosaki, or, of course, me?!" Monoma looked down on everyone.

During the entrance exams, he had scored highly. If the classes had been decided purely on merit, he would have been in Class 1-A from the beginning. But that wasn't how things turned out.

"Originally, there wasn't supposed to be any difference between Class 1-A and 1-B. But ever since this exchange system was applied, Class 1-B has started being considered the class of losers..."

Everyone fell silent.

"That's right. While you enjoy the spotlight, Class 1-B is in constant competition. Everyone wants to get out of there. That's why when I see this relaxed atmosphere, it makes my blood boil!"

Monoma walked toward the exit without looking back—but unexpectedly, Toru stopped him.

"You're wrong. No one here takes things lightly!" Even if her eyes couldn't be seen, they were filled with determination. "Everyone is doing their best to become stronger!"

"Hmph, what's the point if it was already decided from the start who would be the brightest star?"

"I always felt like you harbored some kind of grudge against Allen.... I see," Todoroki spoke. "So after finally managing to get out of Class 1-B, you thought you'd come here and become the protagonist—but then you realized how insignificant you were. It's not just Allen—there are others stronger than you here, and now you're not special anymore..."

"Huh?!"

"So you're just mad because your ego got hurt?" Bakugo mocked. "Didn't think you were that fragile, Monoma!"

You're in no position to talk, Bakugo, everyone thought.

"..." Monoma clenched his teeth and left the classroom.

As for the others, some headed to the cafeteria, while others went to the teachers' lounge, hoping to hear something about Allen.

....

Kaito held his forehead, dealing with a headache.

"Can you explain how this ended up like this?"

The screen showed exactly what Ibara had mentioned—a factory destroyed by a massive explosion.

Allen shrugged. "Well, I checked the factory—it was empty except for robots and machinery. So I thought, why not make a different kind of entrance? Maybe dramatic… maybe epic. You know what they say—the difference between a hero and a superhero is presentation."

"The only one who says that is you! That's not the problem!" Kaito snapped angrily as he played a video. It showed Allen diving from the sky onto a shark carrying 113 kg (250 pounds) of dynamite strapped to its body.

Allen smiled proudly. "That was epic, wasn't it?"

"Huh?! Are you kidding me?!"

"Okay, relax. I saw it in a movie and wanted to give it a try. Besides, the conditions were right—and no one was injured."

"What about the shark?"

"It's fine... and it was released off some coastline... probably."

....

Wade – Just leave that poor man alone already, haha.

Rias – I'm actually starting to feel bad for him.

Anissa – It's the least they deserve for messing with Allen.

Diana – I agree with Anissa. They were the ones who brought Allen here to pressure him.

Jugram – Annoying His Majesty with such nonsense… they all deserve punishment…

Hestia – Relax, we're not talking about the Commission as a whole. At least he seems like an honest man.

Angela (Gil) – You're too naive, goddess.

Hestia – And you're too distrustful!

"..." Allen narrowed his eyes after reading the comments. He still didn't have enough information about Kaito to evaluate him, but he did agree that this interrogation had dragged on for too long.

....

'It's impossible...' Kaito thought.

No matter how he pressed Allen, the boy always found a way out—either through excuses, with some forced nonsense, or sheer force of logic. It was incredibly difficult—if not impossible—to find any weakness in him.

'Is he really just seventeen years old?' Kaito adjusted his glasses and sat down again. Then he closed the file of documents and set it aside. "Allen Walker... this conversation isn't going anywhere."

Allen smiled shamelessly. "Finally, we agree on something, Kaito-kun."

Kaito wasn't surprised that Allen knew his real name. Compared to everything else he knew about him, that was practically normal.

"Walker, I hope you understand that we are not your enemies."

"Subjecting me to a police-style interrogation doesn't make your good intentions any more convincing."

"It's the truth. The Hero Commission is not your enemy. We are not judges, jury, or executioners. But we are responsible for evaluating whether a hero's actions are justified, require a warning, or, in more serious cases, result in a revoked license—or even being handed over to the authorities... we have that power."

"Oh?" Allen smiled, with both amusement and a hint of coldness. "Are you threatening me?"

"No. I'm just stating facts. While your actions, overall, serve justice, your methods create conflict. What I'm saying is—my goal isn't to give you trouble, but to make it clear that we expect you to control your actions, to stay within certain limits. If you do that, we won't cause you problems—and we're even willing to overlook certain things."

"Hypocrite..." Allen stood up from his chair as the entire room began to tremble. "You're the 'good guys' when it suits you, but you also ignore the law when it's convenient. Isn't that exactly what happened with Kaina?"

"Kaina... you mean Kaina Tsutsumi—Lady Nagant?"

"That's right. The hero you used to kill people—something the Hero Commission deemed acceptable. You're not the good guys. You're just an organization willing to do anything to protect the system. Am I wrong?!"

The man's eyes widened slightly before he adjusted his glasses. He didn't show fear—not because he didn't feel it, but because deep down he knew that, despite everything, Allen was a hero. At the very least, his actions had saved more lives in one week than many heroes did in a year.

"I'm sorry... and this may sound like an excuse, but I knew nothing about that. The Hero Commission is not a small organization—we're divided into branches. Some oversee hero agencies, others monitor villains, and others handle hero schools. People like me are responsible for observing, investigating, and punishing heroes who become corrupt..." Kaito looked directly into Allen's eyes without hesitation. "What happened with Lady Nagant was an unforgivable incident involving a high-ranking official of the Commission. It cannot be justified. But I swear—if I had known, I would have stopped it, even if it meant losing my job."

Allen sat back down, his expression relaxing. "I believe you, Kaito. And I'm glad the Commission isn't completely rotten."

"Thank you." Kaito blinked, then glanced at the camera that had been recording. "Mr. Walker, I've concluded that your past actions do not warrant anything beyond a warning. That said, this is a small reward for your merits."

Kaito pulled out two envelopes from his vest and placed them on the table.

Allen didn't open them—he used his X-ray vision to see their contents, which surprised him.

"A hero license… even though I haven't graduated yet?"

Kaito nodded. "But this one is different from normal hero licenses and the provisional ones given to students. In general, it has all the benefits of an official license, with the only difference being that it requires three professional heroes to act as your supervisors."

"..."

"It's not a trap. If you want, we can assign professional heroes who aren't close to you for this role."

"Doesn't matter… but a license, huh? Does that mean I'll get paid?" Allen joked.

"Yes. Not only that—you'll now be able to receive sponsorships, join a hero agency, or even create your own. Beyond that, I think what will interest you most is that you'll officially be part of the hero rankings."

Allen remained silent for a moment before raising an eyebrow. "Why? Don't tell me this is just a reward, Kaito."

"The truth is, regardless of all the trouble that comes with you, we hope to count on your power against All For One." Kaito stood up and extended his hand.

Allen stood as well and shook it. In that instant, he noticed Kaito slipping something into his hand, which he stored in his inventory without hesitation.

Kaito walked toward the door. "Mr. Walker-kun, I hope you understand that nothing here is personal. I'm just doing my job..."

"Don't worry, Bald-kun."

A vein bulged on Kaito's forehead, but he still forced a smile.

....

After leaving the Hero Commission, Allen discreetly looked at what the piece of paper said and narrowed his eyes.

– "She is listening." –

Makima – This brings back memories...

Esdeath – Who's listening?

"Who else? The woman in charge of the Hero Commission—the President..."

Allen didn't know the full story of this world, but based on everything he had experienced, he could tell the Hero Commission operated in a gray area. It was hard to believe that the ones behind the heroes were like that—but considering what they were capable of, it wouldn't be surprising if they either opposed him in the future… or supported him.

One thing was certain—they wouldn't take their eyes off him.

Gwen – There are definitely a lot of hidden meanings here.

MJ – These organizations feel like something out of a mystery novel full of betrayals.

Felicia – Allen, what was in the second envelope? ~

Allen smiled. "It's a secret..."

Rukia – I bet it's a fine—you deserve it~

Eve – What if it's the bald guy's phone number? Haha.

Erza – A-a love letter?!

Saya – I wouldn't be surprised, hahaha.

Allen gave a cold smile. "Just so you know, I have a good memory—and I won't forget this~"

The girls were slightly intimidated by that malicious smile.

....

"Hm?"

On the street, Allen spotted a familiar car—it was Nemuri's.

The moment she saw him, she got out of the vehicle and ran toward him, hugging him tightly. His face ended up buried against her chest as she looked like she was about to cry.

"Allen!"

"Are you okay?!"

Kaina also stepped out of the car and approached him. She pushed Nemuri aside and began checking Allen's body.

"Did they do anything to you? Did those bastards threaten you? Force you into anything? Just tell me, and I'll destroy that place!"

"I'm fine, don't worry," Allen laughed as he hugged Kaina, catching her off guard.

"What are you doing?"

"You can't act that cute and expect me not to hug you."

"You..." Kaina blushed.

"Hey! I was worried too—where's my hug?!" Nemuri pouted.

"Shut up. You're just a pervert trying to take advantage of the situation," Kaina growled.

"Huh?!"

As expected, the two women started arguing, making Allen sigh.

....

Somehow, Allen managed to calm both women down and soon headed back to U.A. Allen needed to report everything to Nezu and All Might.

Allen sat in the back seat, and only then did he notice that Nemuri wasn't wearing her hero outfit but formal clothing—a gray skirt suit with square glasses. The outfit made her look like a beautiful office lady.

Noticing Allen's gaze through the rearview mirror, Nemuri winked at him and smiled.

"Hehe, do you like my sexy teacher outfit? ❤️~"

She wasn't even trying to hide her flirting anymore. Still, she was so shameless about it that it was hard to believe she was serious.

From the passenger seat, Kaina glanced at Nemuri's actions with a frown. Just as she was about to scold her, the memory of the intense kiss she shared with Allen during the sports festival crossed her mind.

"...!" Kaina no longer had the right to criticize Nemuri for being so perverted.

She remembered the warmth of Allen's embrace, the masculine scent of his body, and the strength with which he held her while kissing her. Kaina turned completely red and looked away toward the street, not daring to look at Nemuri—much less Allen in the back seat.

"...?"

Nemuri's eyes widened, her pupils shrinking as she saw that embarrassed reaction. Then she stared intensely at Allen through the mirror, searching for answers. Unfortunately for her, he had already taken out his phone and started messaging the girls—perhaps anticipating what was happening.

"..."

Nemuri's expression darkened as she bit her lip. She hadn't forgotten Kaina's mysterious disappearance during the sports festival, the scent she left on Allen, and the strange tension between them.

'It can't be… right?! Out of everyone, Kaina would be the last person to cross that line. I'm not even sure if I should do it… damn it!'

Nemuri clenched her teeth. She knew Allen had many "friends," but those younger girls gave off more of a pure, youthful love, meaning the risk of one of them taking him away was low. However, Kaina was already a woman—one whose life revolved around Allen and who wouldn't hesitate to give herself to him if she chose to ignore the consequences.

Nemuri took a deep breath and calmed her emotions. Beyond her flirtatious and seductive personality—which was mostly part of her persona—she wasn't a degenerate. She had never expected to have that kind of relationship with Allen. It was only in these past months that she realized her feelings for him had gone beyond familial love.

And only then did she begin to feel afraid of losing him.

Of course, she trusted that Allen would never abandon her—but every time she imagined another woman walking down the aisle beside him while she watched from the front row, her jealousy became uncontrollable.

'What do you want to do?' Nemuri asked herself as her blue eyes looked at Allen through the rearview mirror. It only took a few seconds for her cheeks to flush and her pupils to dilate.

"Watch out!" Kaina shouted as she turned the wheel to avoid a crash.

The car narrowly avoided a truck.

"What are you doing?!" Kaina scolded.

Nemuri knew it was her fault, so she didn't argue. "Sorry… I got distracted..."

Allen lowered his hand—he had been ready to intervene if Kaina hadn't reacted in time.

Looking at both women, Allen knew he would have to deal with this sooner or later. The question was whether he would let Nemuri and Kaina decide… or take the initiative himself.

After saying goodbye to the two women, who were going to park the car, Allen headed toward the main entrance.

"What a hectic day..." Allen yawned. "Without knowing that things were only going to get worse from here."

A/N: It's funny, but in MHA, the main cast only becomes professional heroes in the final episode—meaning they defeated the devil without getting paid a single cent. XD
