Ben stood tall in his hybrid form. His black wings were unfurled and his red eyes burned with a murderous light. Alvida held Seraphina. Her skin was flawless.
Mad Treasure stood in front of them. His bare arms were wrapped in thick, rattling chains.
"Why are you after Uta and Carina?" Ben questioned.
"Why do you care?" Mad Treasure asked with a sinister smile. "Are they related to you?" he questioned.
"They are," Alvida responded. "They are my sisters," she added.
"Yo do not look like," Mad Treasure responded.
Alvida stared back at him. She held the handle of Seraphina tightly.
Ben thought in the original he was working for Gold Tesoro. He thought why would he want Uta, when she was Shanks` daughter. He thought more importantly why she did not go to Shanks. "Who are you working for?" he questioned.
"Jararara, why would I tell you?" Mad Treasure responded. He looked at them both. "Both of you have high-bounty heads," he said. "I will get you both," he added
"He is insane," Ben said. "Alvida, let's be careful he has a devil fruit called the Jara Jara no Mi which allows him to control chains," he added.
"Wrecking Ball," Mad Treasure as he gathered a massive heap of chains into a giant sphere. He started to swing the ball over his head and then hurled it at Ben.
"Demon Fist," Ben shouted as he channeled dark, pulsating energy into his clawed hand. He swung his hand and met the massive iron sphere head-on. The collision sent a shockwave that cracked the ice beneath. Ben pushed back and deflected the sphere into a nearby cliffside.
"Slipstream Dash," Alvida said as her feet slid across the snow with supernatural speed. She glided toward Mad Treasure's flank. "Kanabo Maelstrom," she added as she twisted her body and swung her mace with spiraling force.
Mad Treasure smiled. He saw her coming. "You are quick," he remarked. "Chain Hammer," Mad Treasure said as chains wrapped on his arm. He swung his arm and hit the mace. There were sparks coming off. Mad Treasure felt his strength go for a second.
Ben capitalized on the opening. He leaped into the air. "Demon Slash," Ben said as he whipped his hands forward and launched a projectile of dark energy. It hissed through the air and hit Mad Treasure's skin. There was a small explosion and a smoke cloud could be seen. He took a step back from the impact.
"Kanabo Breaker," Alvida said as she focused her strength and gripped Seraphina. She swung her mace and hit his stomach in the smoke cloud.
Mad Treasure got hit with the attack and spat blood. He hunched forward from the impact. He felt his strength go again. He narrowed his eyes and jumped back. "You think you've won?! I'm the ultimate hunter," he said as he threw his arms wide, and the chains around him began to multiply. "Gigantea," he shouted as hundreds of chains erupted from his skin and coiled and weaved around his entire body. Within seconds, he was wrapped around in a thick, multi-layered suit of chainmail armor.
"He has created armour for himself," Alvida remarked.
"We can still beat him," Ben said.
"Of course my love," Alvida responded with a smile on her face.
Mad Treasure thought my love. He smiled. "So two lovers," he laughed. "I will tear you apart," he added. "Mad Chain," Mad Treasure roared. He launched a massive barrage of chains from his body towards Ben and Alvida.
Ben flew forward. "Demon Barrage," he said as he created a swarm of small, dark energy projectiles around his wings and fired them. They flew through the air and the two attacks met in mid-air. There were several explosions which created smoke around them. Ben charged forward.
Ben thought he was going to need a little more firepower to get through him. "Demon Inferno Kick," Ben said as he spun in the air. His leg ignited with charcoal-black flames. He swung his leg and hit Mad Treasure's armored jaw. The black fire erupted upon impact and charred the chainmail and the skin beneath. Treasure stumbled back.
"You're tough! But I've survived worse," Treasure yelled. "Chain Hammer," Mad Treasure added as more chains wrapped on his arm. He swung his arm and hit Ben in the chest. Ben got hit by his fist and was launched backwards. He spat his own spit.
"My love," Alvida said as she looked at Ben.
"I am okay," Ben responded as he got up. He thought that was the strength of a new world pirate.
"I am not done," Mad Treasure said. "Chain Judgment, " he added as he slammed his fists into the ground. Suddenly, four heavy chains erupted from the snow beneath Ben and Alvida like spears.
Ben took to the sky and dodged the attack.
"Slip on Slide," Alvida shouted as she leaned forward and glided effortlessly between the rising chains. She circled around Mad Treasure. "Kanabo Thunder," as she slammed her mace into the ice. A seismic shockwave rippled outward and cracked the ground.
"What," Mad Treasure groaned. He quickly used his chains and moved from the cracks.
He looked at Alvida. "Chain Lock," Mad Treasure commanded as he fired two chains at Alvida's legs.
"Slip Roll," Alvida said as she tucked into a ball and rolled under the chain. She went towards Mad Treasure. She came out from the ball and swung her leg. "Slip Slide Kick," she added as she swept his legs out from under him.
Mad Treasure felt like he slipped. He smiled and swung his arms in a circle. "Chain Saw Whirlwind," he said as two chains began to spin rapidly around him.
Alvida quickly leapt back as the saws shredded the ice where she had stood.
Ben descended from the sky. "Demon Abyssal Lance," He said as he hurled a spear-shaped projection of dark energy. It flew through the air and pierced into Mad Treasure's shoulder.
Mad Treasure spat blood. From the wound blood came out. However, Mad Treasure looked at Ben with a smile. "Mad Snap," he said as he threw a loop of chain around Ben's neck and pulled him.
Ben was jerked forward, but he used the momentum. "Demon Inferno Fist," Ben said as his fist ignited with black flames. He flew towards Mad Treasure and punched the hunter squarely in the chest. The heat melted the iron links of the Gigantea armor.
Mad Treasure coughed up a thick spray of blood. He smiled and wrapped his arms around Ben in a death hug. "Got you," Treasure hissed. "Mad Chain Serpent," added as a long chain flicked behind Ben like a living snake and struck him in the back.
Ben gritted his teeth. He felt the chain hit him with force on the spine. He panted
"Get off him," Alvida screamed. "Kanabo Crusher," she added as she leaped high into the air and came crashing down.
Mad Treasure saw the attack and released Ben. He rolled out of the way just as Alvida's mace pulverized the spot where he had been. The ground exploded.
Treasure scrambled to his feet. He thought that mace was not normal. He was panting, blood dripping from face. "Gigantea," he yelled again and forced more chains out of his body to repair the broken areas. "I'm not done yet," he shouted.
Ben stood next to Alvida. His red eyes narrowed. "He's durable, I'll give him that," he said.
"But all things have a breaking point," Alvida agreed. "Shave," Alvida added as she vanished and reappeared in front of Mad Treasure.
"How do you know that?" Mad Treasure asked in shock. He thought this was the Marines` technique.
"Slip Strike," she said as she coated her mace in a layer of slipperiness. She reduced friction to nearly zero. The blow was so fast Treasure couldn't track it. It slammed into his gut. The amplified force sent him skidding back through the snow.
Ben followed up immediately. "Demon Abyssal Chains," he said as black chains erupted from Ben's palms and wrapped around Mad Treasure's limbs.
"You think these chains can stop me," Mad Treasure shouted.
"Not really," Ben responded. "But it can stop you long enough for her," Ben added.
"Kanabo Crusher," Alvida said as she lifted the mace high and swung it down in a crushing blow. She hit Mad Treasure`s face hard.
His head got hit and jerked down. He spat blood and more blood started to leak from his forehead.
"Alvida I am coming," Ben said.
Alvida jumped back.
Ben got in front of Mad Treasure. "Demon Inferno Fire," Ben said as he opened his mouth. He unleashed a torrent of black charcoal flames like a flamethrower. The fire engulfed Mad Treasure. It turned the snow behind him into steam.
Through the roar of the flames, Mad Treasure's voice could still be heard. "Wrecking Ball," he said as a massive sphere of iron burst through the fire. It was aimed at Ben's head.
Ben caught it with both hands. "Demon Blast," Ben said as he unleashed a two-handed energy blast directly into the sphere. The explosion was deafening. The iron was turned to shrapnel.
Mad Treasure was sent skidding backwards. There was smoke raising his body. "Jararara, I am Mad Treasure, I take what I want," he laughed.
Alvida stepped forward. "What you're taking today is a loss,"she remarked.
Ben chuckled. He thought that was a good one.
"Kanabo Cyclone," Alvida said as swung her mace. A spiraling air current lifted Mad Treasure off his feet.
"Demon Abyssal Big Missile," Ben said as a massive, missile-like projectile of dark energy formed above Ben. He pointed at Mad Treasure and fired. The black missile streaked through the air. It connected with Mad Treasure's chest in mid-air.
There was a massive explosion and black smoke curled into the freezing sky.
Ben and Alvida looked at the explosion and the large smoke cloud.
"Jararara," Mad Treasure laughed as he rose. He stepped outside from the smoke. His Gigantea armor was nearly vaporized and hung in molten strips. His skin was burnt. His eyes were wide with a terrifying, drug-like euphoria. "That was a beautiful explosion," he shrieked. "But you're going to have to do better to kill the greatest hunter in the New World," he shouted.
Ben thought he was not that great.
He slammed his palms together, and the remaining chains on his body began to glow a dull, heated red. "Mad Forge, Iron Rain," he screamed as dozens of small, red-hot metal shards erupted from his body. They fired towards Ben and Alvida.
"Slip Shield," Alvida shouted as she created a slippery shield. The burning shards hit her friction-less barrier and slid away,
Ben thought this was new. He thought his chains could do this.
"I am not done," Mad Treasure shouted. "Chain Graveyard," Treasure he said as he thrusted his hands into the snow. At that moment, dozens of chains burst out of the ground and wrapped the rocks and trees.
Ben took to the air. He looked to see the iron chains everywhere. He thought he needed to end this quickly. "Demon Abyssal Swallowtail Arrow," he said as he formed a massive dark energy arrow with its distinct split tail. He then hurled it.
"Mad Anchor: Counter-Snap," Mad Treasure as he fired a chain that wrapped around the energy arrow mid-flight. The chain connected another chain to the tree. He used the weight of to swing the projectile towards Alvida.
"Watch out," Ben yelled.
"Shave," Alvida said as she vanished. The arrow went forward and exploded against a rock. The rock was blown to tiny pieces. Alvida appeared directly under Mad Treasure's chin. "Kanabo Reaper," Alvida said as she swung her mace in a massive horizontal arc. The blow connected with Treasure's side and shattered his ribs and sent him tumbling forward.
Mad Treasure spat blood. He then used his chains to slingshot himself back at them. "Mad Chain: Iron Guillotine," he said as he crossed two thick chains in front of him and created a giant scissor-like blade of metal that whistled toward Alvida's neck.
Ben dropped from the sky like a comet. "Demon Abyssal Whip." he said as he created a whip. He lashed it out and wrapped it around the chains and jerked them upward.
"Alvida, now," Ben said.
"Kanabo Maelstrom," Alvida said as she tensed every muscle. She then swung Serphina with enough force to distort the air. She slammed the sea prism head into Mad Treasure's gut. He was propelled backward, but Ben was already behind him.
"Demon's Inferno Fist," Ben said as he channeled his energy into hand . He ignited the energy and released black fire as a result. His fist had black flames and he punched Mad Treasure in the gut.
Mad Treasure got hit. The flames shot from the back side. He was sent flying back and crashed into the ground.
Alvida leaped high in the air and spun her body at high speed. "Slipstream Cannon," said as she created a vortex of air that she compressed and fired like a powerful projectile. It hit Mad Treasure on the chest.
Mad Treasure got hit in the chest. He felt the air in his lunge escape. He spat blood and panted.
"Jararara," Mad Treasure laughed. He moved his torso up. "You both are something," he shouted. "Both in the New World you are nothing," he said as he got up. He was bleeding and laughed. "It is time to show you why I am called Mad Treasure," he said. "Maximum Gigantea," Mad Treasure yelled as chains wrapped around his body. The chain kept wrapping around him. He grew taller and taller. The chains created a large armour knight.
Ben looked to see a twenty feet armoured chain. He thought the devil fruit was capable of it. "Alvida," Ben said.
"We have beaten things bigger than him," Alvida said.
Ben smiled. "I know," he said.
"Time for you both to die," Mad Treasure shouted.
