Adam didn't know what had happened to Vador, nor did he know anything about the injury or illness that had brought him to this state, at least not until that moment.
In fact, Adam couldn't understand how Vador was still alive, given what had happened to his Evolution Tree.
"Damn, is this the aftermath of the battle?" Adam's eyes swept from one part of the tree to another as they hovered in the darkness and gradually lost their energy.
Once every part ran out of energy, it would all be over for Vador, and that would happen quite soon.
"Still, even this is a miracle. How is he still alive?"
Death from energy depletion was understandable, but it would be a common occurrence if Vador's Evolution Tree were intact yet had one or more serious injuries. It was the same as having several bleeding wounds on a human body.
If the bleeding isn't stopped, the person will eventually die of exhaustion, but these weren't fatal wounds, they could have been healed if treated in time.
