"Big Boss, great drinking tolerance!"
Everyone was egging him on from the side as Kris Cooper put his left-hand wine glass on the table.
"Pour the wine."
Ruben Campbell, sitting next to him, took the wine bottle to help him pour while his right arm remained around Vera Wave's shoulder.
The two were originally sitting together, and when he retracted his arm, Vera was pulled into his embrace.
"This one, I toast to everyone!"
He leaned down to grab his wine glass, pulling her with him, causing her to lean against his shoulder, her heart pounding suddenly.
She instinctively wanted to straighten up, but the man's palm tightened all of a sudden, clutching her wrist firmly.
"Come on, cheers!"
Others had already raised their glasses, and Merlin Bradley, sitting on Vera's right, helped her pour a fruit drink. Kris Cooper extended his hand to grasp her hand, clutching the glass and raising it together.
