He bent down, kissing and nibbling her neck.
She shrank back. "Honey, just tell me, how did you find me?"
He leaned his face toward her. She smiled and kissed him on the lips.
He gently fingered her necklace. "Remember that app I installed on your phone? The bracelet I gave you has a small zinc chip inside that can emit a signal. That way, your phone can sense its distance from you. I wrote a program to track your signal, so I always know where you are."
"Then why did you bother knocking on door after door?"
"You little fool!" Kris Cooper pinched her ear. "Tracking the bracelet takes time. Knocking on doors is faster."
To find her, he would first have to break through the satellite's firewall to utilize its resources, and then pinpoint her location. All of that would take time. Kate Palmer had her current address, so why would he go to all that trouble?
