My eyes widened the moment I saw the two of them suddenly close the distance and kiss each other.
It happened so naturally that my brain almost failed to catch up for a second. One moment they were looking at each other, and the next, their lips were already pressed together like they had done it a thousand times before. Smooth. Comfortable. Dangerous for my sanity, apparently.
And for some reason, the instant I saw that, a wave of heat rushed through my body so fast it genuinely startled me.
The feeling spread everywhere.
My chest felt tight, my breathing became uneven, and this unbearable warmth started pooling deep inside me. It caught me completely off guard because this wasn't supposed to affect me that much.
