I pulled back slightly, still feeling the warmth of the kiss lingering against my lips.
"I-It's just… that's the way you kiss him…" I said quietly to Charl.
She was staring at me with that teasing smile again, the kind that made me feel like she could see straight through my thoughts. My chest felt embarrassingly tight under her gaze.
"I-Is it bad that I kissed you like that?" I asked.
The question slipped out before I could stop it.
Part of me genuinely worried about what he might think. Maybe he'd think I was too easy. Too shameless. The kind of woman who got carried away too quickly the moment things became intimate.
Leon, however, only smiled.
"It's not," he said calmly.
His voice was relaxed, almost amused.
"If anything, it just makes you even cuter."
The moment he said that, my face heated up so fast it almost hurt. Seriously, how does he say things like that so casually? Meanwhile, I felt like my brain was seconds away from shutting down completely.
