[3rd POV]
After touring around New Orleans for a while longer, they had eventually made their way into the French Quarter, this is where the Mikaelsons currently were. And after entering the quarter, Lucifer had come to the realization that it was not just the Mikaelsons that were currently there.
Another of their children was there, seemingly visiting alongside Hope. The two of them were in the living room with the rest of the Mikaelsons, making it the perfect time to go in and see them.
Which is exactly what they were doing right now, as Lucifer walked up and knocked on the door, her family behind her. The girls didn't realize that Rose was there at the moment, but Alice knew. She was barely withholding the excitement inside of her at seeing the other daughter of hers that she hadn't been able to see just yet.
Standing in front of the door for a few more moments, Lucifer glanced back at her family as they waited longer and longer. She was beginning to wonder what the hell they were up to inside, the door soon opened a few moments later, as Rebekah stood on the other side, looking somewhat annoyed.
That annoyance soon disappeared, as she realized who was standing in front of her, as her face warped into a smile.
"Lucifer! Alice! Why didn't you tell us you were back in town?" Rebekah exclaimed with a grin on her face as she moved forwards and gave each of them a short hug. Before she glanced over and noticed that the rest of the girls were behind them too, and there was someone new too.
Someone adorable.
But she decided against saying anything, as obviously the girl was new, and looked very very uncomfortable at the moment. Mostly just concerned because she had never met them before, so she had no idea what type of people the Mikaelsons were.
Which was a very fair reaction considering everything that Daenerys had gone through over the years of her life.
"Well we only got back like last night or so, and we figured we might as well surprise you. We thought it'd be a nice surprise. Why, do you not want us here or something?" Lucifer asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Oh we both know we do. I'm just surprised, that's all. Now come on in, Rose is here too so I'm sure she'll be happy to see that you are back from your trip" Rebekah said with a roll of her eyes, before stepping aside as Lucifer and the rest of her family began to walk into the house.
Walking into the house, the group soon found themselves in the living room, as they saw Rose and Hope sitting together. They had been watching TV, seemingly watching a Football game (American). From what she could tell it was the New Orleans Saints vs the Atlanta Falcons.
Lucifer didn't really watch Football. Be it American Football or otherwise. Lucifer found herself actually watching basketball more than anything, with her also being a big fan of Hockey. While Alice had always been a giant fan of American Football, and was a staunch supporter of the Seattle Seahawks (since she lived in Washington state for a lot of her life).
The kids were fans of varying areas, primarily Soccer/Football or Basketball. Vi and Powder were the only two kids in their family that LOVED American Football, to a degree that was even higher than Alice's.
They were also fans of different teams. One of which Alice was not a fan of.
The San Francisco 49ers, aka the primary rival of Alice's favorite team, the "Forty Whiners". While Powder really liked the Buffalo Bills, which was based out of New York. Either way, their little rivalry because of the teams was pretty fun to watch.
They had even brought up the idea of going to in person games as a pass time, and Lucifer had to admit that the idea was fun. The games could get REALLY loud, and pretty fun. And while it wasn't as coordinated as a "Soccer" game tended to be, they were loud and still fun.
Plus the 49ers and Seahawks went against each other all the time, since they were in the same division and were rivals. Therefore, going to a game between Alice's favorite team and Powders would be easy for them.
It was an idea that Lucifer and Alice planned on eventually going through with.
Hearing the people walk into the room, Rose turned and her eyes widened in surprise, a gasp echoed from her as she launched out of the couch with a bright grin on her face. Excitement clear on her face at the fact that they were finally back after what felt like forever.
"Moms!" She cheered, as she hugged Lucifer and Alice tightly, happy.
"I'm glad to see you love! We were wondering if you'd come back around the house" Lucifer said with a grin as she pulled back from the hug, looking down at her daughter.
"I was planning on going by after this, but now that you're here I can just go back with you!" Rose said brightly, as she pulled back from the hug, still excited that they were back now.
"Oh? And is Hope accompanying you?" Alice asked, looking over at Hope who blinked in surprise.
"Would that be okay, Miss Morningstar?" Hope questioned in surprise.
"Of course! We'd love to have you over" Alice replied with a smile on her face, not minding the idea at all. Lucifer didn't either, as she nodded in agreement with her wife.
Rose, who had been silent, had noticed the other person behind Alice and Lucifer, the adorable little girl that was looking around with a slightly frightened look on her face.
Rose glanced at her parents in realization, as they both noticed and smiled and softly nodded. She understood pretty much instantly that this little girl was someone special.
Seeing this, Rose smiled softly as she walked over and crouched down in front of the still nervous Daenerys. She was going to do her best to come off as kind and warm as possible. She had seen Powder when she had first arrived, and Daenerys looked very similar. To be scared of her surroundings, unwilling to interact with strangers, all of that sort of stuff.
"Hi there, I'm Rose, what's your name?" Rose asked, a warm and kind smile on her face as she gazed at the nervous looking girl who truthfully was getting a bit overwhelmed at this point.
"D-Daenerys" She responded, stumbling over her own word a little bit. She didn't know the person in front of her at all. She was already nervous around the other girls around her, and this was not really helping to be frank. But Lucifer and Alice knew that this was for the best, as Daenerys had to get comfortable with this either way.
That way she can get used to interacting with people she had never met before. And more importantly, so that she could get used to interacting with the girls that might end up becoming her true family in the future.
"It's nice to meet you Daenerys" Rose replied after hearing the response of her potential new sister. It was taking all of her will power to not react to how monumentally adorable that the little girl in front of her was. She was like the cutest thing she had ever seen.
And she had a pet eevee.
Looking back at the Mikaelson's that were watching the entire interaction with small soft looks on their faces, and the faces of her own parents who looked just as warm about it.
And then she turned back to Daenerys and asked her a very important question. And that was...
"How would you like to watch a Football game?"
