The tiny pixie hovered in front of Aera, its translucent wings already fluttering rapidly as it stared at her with its ruby-red eyes.
It didn't seem like it had just hatched from an egg…
Aera slowly extended one finger toward it, and after a brief hesitation, the little creature flew closer and landed gently on her fingertip.
"Hello."
The pixie tilted its head.
Aera watched its reaction carefully before trying again. "Can you understand me?"
To her surprise, the little creature nodded.
Aera's eyes immediately widened. "You really understand me?"
The pixie nodded again, its silver hair swaying gently as it moved.
"That's amazing..."
Aera couldn't hide her excitement. She had expected the Bloodfeeding Pixie to be intelligent, but she hadn't expected it to understand human speech immediately after hatching.
