Bokuto's POV
Upon arriving on this small beautiful island, we set foot on its sandy coast. It feels soft and warm…Taro was ecstatic on the sand and in the crystal-clear waters. Honshi and Mariya breathed in the fresh, tropical air. Sha was fascinated by the infrastructure at the Boracay port while looking at the island map on his phone. "This is small, but everything was possible here…the infrastructure, the people who lived here, the sheer amount of tourists…"
He acted as if he were a newbie tourist here.
That makes sense…
Shortly thereafter, we rode an electric public utility vehicle (yes, an electric-powered transport vehicle) through the island. The island itself was cramped, and the density of buildings and people here managed to make it possible while maintaining its dignity for the tourists. Reo-kun, Hoshi-kun, and Saki-chan took a lot of pictures using their phones as we passed by in a steady speed.
Then, at 9:00 a.m., they arrived at a street where their designated hotel was just a few blocks away. After Mariya paid up the fare, all of us lugged around our bags and walked to the hotel, which wasn't what we expected or imagined: it was a sprawling estate with the main building having two stories and more buildings from across the narrow street. Our hotel rooms were two, and they were located on the second level.
The rooms, by the time we opened the doors, were…strangely nice and managed to cramp a few wooden bunkbeds into the main room. There was a bathroom on one side. The place where we could make our meals was on the other side of the street, and I heard that it was nice and had a memorial common hall near it. Looking at the extension of the estate from the balcony, I marvelled at the ingenuity and intuition of the Filipinos in making the most out of the limited space on this island.
Later, we will have a fun time at the beach…
