Mariya's POV
By 9:35 a.m., we all headed to the beach here in Station 1 for some fun time. We were in our swimming clothes for this activity, as well as bring along essential bath towels, light snacks, and drinks for that. The beach was busy, but we managed to find a spot that is not busy and, the water was crystal clear and nice. As Saki-chan, Sha, and I put down our belongings and while Paulo set down the beach blanket, the others couldn't wait for that dip in the water, so they ran to the waters.
"Me first!" Taro shouted.
"Hey, sandal lang!" Hoshi laughed.
Bokuto became second and started swimming across the water like a ninja he is.
This time, his crimson mask was off because he didn't want to get it wet.
Honshi and Reo stopped by at a shallow part and sat down, enjoying the tranquility of the beach and the breeze while Paulo was actively splashing water at Taro.
"Hey, oni-chan," Reo said.
Hoshi then looked at him. "Yeah?"
"I really like how we solved a case in Metro Manila, and then arrived here to have a relaxing vacation. To be honest, the case in the big city was intense, and me and the others who were giving the corrupt cops a wild goose chase were in constant danger."
She then looked at the view of the sea. "But it was worth it, and the spirits got what they wanted on their way to the afterlife."
"Yup!" Hoshi replied with a warm smile. "Kuro-kun is very happy that we solved it, and a film studio is going to make a remake of the film that the crime case was based on, and the one that I hated so much."
Watching their conversation by the waterside, I couldn't help but feel appreciated by everything that happened.
We had moved on after our father died 4 years ago, and it felt that everything works well for us.
But then, my gaze landed on Saki, who was staring at Hoshi constantly. I can hear her murmurs of "Hoshi-kun…". The tone sounded like romance. "Hey, Saki-chan…" I asked, "…are you in love with my younger brother?"
Saki snapped out of it and hid her face from Hoshi.
Her face became red like a kamatis. "N-No…I…N-Nothing…"
"Um…" I replied while secreting knowing that she was, indeed, in love with him, "…okay…well, I think you should go to the waters before everything gets hot."
Saki did so and was followed by Sha.
Hmm…so Saki was in love with Hoshi-kun…
We enjoyed our water-splashing time until lunchtime, where we went back to the hotel to make our meal using the mess hall from the other side of the street from the main hotel estate. We had purchased ingredients from Boracay's markets, and Hoshi, Sha, and I took over the kitchen to make our lunch. It was simple adobo, some fried eggplants in egg wash, and some simple handmade sushi and of course, freshly steamed rice.
