Whenever Nian Nian got tired of walking, she would only let Valentine Teller carry her; Mark Reed couldn't even sneak a touch.
They spent the whole day at the amusement park, and Valentine was tired too. After having dinner outside, they went home, she bathed the kid and coaxed her to sleep.
By the time Nian Nian was sound asleep, she was completely wiped out, sprawled on the bed, not wanting to move a muscle.
Mark came out of the bathroom freshly showered, and saw Valentine staring at him without blinking. He hooked his lips into a slight smile and smiled back at her.
Valentine drawled lazily, "I want a shower."
She was sweaty all over and uncomfortable, but she was just too lazy to move, didn't want to get up.
She looked at Mark with pleading eyes.
"Want me to help you shower?" Mark sat down at the edge of the sofa, leaned in close to Valentine, sniffed at her, and deliberately scrunched up his brows in exaggeration. "What a strong smell."
