Back at the hotel, Valentine Teller washed Mark Reed's face and feet. After settling him in bed, she prepared to take a shower when the doorbell rang suddenly, and the smell of alcohol hit her.
A heavily intoxicated Turstin Muller suddenly embraced Valentine Teller, pecked her harshly on the lips, then swiftly returned to his own room. By the time Valentine reacted, the taste of alcohol on her lips was the most tangible sensation.
"Wife, wife..." Hearing Mark Reed's drunken calls, Valentine was taken aback, quickly shut the door, and returned to his side with a damp towel to wipe his flushed cheeks.
Mark Reed particularly enjoyed having his face wiped with a cool towel after drinking.
He immediately quieted down, a happy smile playing at the corners of his lips.
It was a long time before she heard his murmured words: "Thank you, wife!"
Valentine smiled faintly and pinched his nose: "You're the best at making people happy."
