CHAPTER 96. UNTIL NEXT TIME, CAPTAIN
"I will take my leave then." Eleanora said after a moment.
"I will suggest you should shift back here." Alexander replied.
Eleanora looked at him, her eyes unreadable. With the accident that occurred to Laurent's siblings, she had learnt one thing for sure - the enemy was dangerous.
Putting herself at danger for them was one thing, but staking her parents wasn't worth it.
"I'll consider that." Eleanora said, turning to leave the room.
"Drop her." Alexander's gaze didn't leave Eleanora, but Tyler received his message.
"I can manage. You don't have to send him." Eleanora replied even before Christian could take a single step.
"I insist." Alexander wasn't backing down.
"And I refuse." Neither was Eleanora.
Both kept staring at each other, as if some sort of competition on who blinked away would lose first.
"I am staying in the city anyways. And I have a bike. It's easier for me to go alone." Eleanora tried once again.
