It didn't take long to make it to the royal palace, though I did notice a lot more shuttles in the air space as we approached. And as I looked out of the window to the grounds of the palace, my face turned pale.
"Oh... Oh no...."
There were countless individuals around the palace and the flashing... So much flashing from cameras... "I've changed my mind. I don't want to go out there."
Valerica giggled. "Oh, don't be silly. It's not that bad. Look here is what's going to happen. Considering I am a guardian, we are going to be put down in an... Let's just say a populated area. We get through that then work the stations one by one.
You won't have to talk to anyone, I don't think, all you have to do is smile and wave and after a few hours the event will begin."
"A few hours..." I repeated back to her, my eyes going hollow at the thought. Though there was one comfort.
"At least we will all be in it together. Right?"
