The sound of rasping at the door brought Hailey out of her trance. She asked for no interruptions unless Apollo was here to see her, so she was either about to be extremely happy, or extremely pissed off.
However, as she opened the door to her room, confusion took hold for a moment before allowing a small smile to appear on her lips. "Adia! It is good to see you again. How has training been?"
Adia paused for a moment. She had been the captain of Hailey's house guard for a long time. Seeing her actively smile in her presence was a shocking sight. However, she swiftly composed herself.
"My Tribune. My training has gone well. I felt your absence at the college quite heavily, but I am also glad that you were doing something you were enjoying."
Hailey smiled again. Adia knew she hated being called princess, except by Apollo as he always has that playfulness to him when he says it. She appreciated the extra effort to be called by her military rank.
