Chapter 288: I'm Not Here to Play Around
Cai Yu regretted everything deeply. Had he known, he would've warned Shi Tonghui that this beauty was Zhang Yang's woman. And if you crossed a woman by Zhang Yang's side, you'd better be ready to be schemed against anytime, anywhere.
The moment he saw Shi Tonghui stupidly walking back carrying bags like a pack mule, he knew that brainless yet arrogant idiot had definitely fallen for a trap.
Sure enough, when the elevator doors opened, trouble arrived. Zhang Yang appeared exactly as expected—and right beside him was the woman he hated most: the demoness Gao Qi.
He never thought Zhang Yang would be staying at the same hotel. Had he known, he might have taken a detour or gone elsewhere entirely.
When Yang Fei saw Zhang Yang, she instantly relaxed—like a heavy stone finally dropped from her heart.
She knew that no matter when or where, as long as she was in danger, Zhang Yang would appear by her side. And as long as he was beside her, she would never be in danger.
Shi Tonghui, seeing two more gorgeous beauties suddenly appear, practically froze. What kind of magical day was this? So many beauties—and he didn't even notice Yang Fei slip past him back to Zhang Yang.
"Well, what a coincidence." Gao Qi took the lead, walking straight toward Cai Yu.
Cai Yu felt his balls tighten—he wanted to run but couldn't.
"Huh? You all know each other? Young Master Cai?" Shi Tonghui put down the bags, staring stupidly. He noticed Yang Fei already at Zhang Yang's side—even an idiot could tell he'd been played.
"Of course we know each other." Gao Qi glanced at Shi Tonghui, then circled Cai Yu with a mischievous smile. "Not only know—very well acquainted, right, Young Master Cai?"
Cai Yu covered his mouth and coughed awkwardly. Zhang Yang was one thing, but Gao Qi—he wished to never speak to her again.
Gao Qi's words left Yang Fei confused. Zhang Yang knowing Cai Yu wasn't strange, but Gao Qi seemed familiar with him too—that was unexpected.
Yang Fei simply frowned slightly and didn't ask.
"What's going on here?" The man with white-framed glasses was confused.
He recognized Zhang Yang from TV. But Gao Qi was unfamiliar. And now it looked like Cai Yu knew their whole group. Had they all misunderstood each other like characters in a bad TV drama?
But no—something didn't add up.
Clearly, Cai Yu was hiding something.
For a moment, everyone in the lobby—from the receptionist to the security guard—was stunned, drowning in awkward tension.
"Young Master Shen, I'll explain later." Cai Yu finally spoke, then glanced at Gao Qi with an embarrassed smile. "Miss Gao's… kindness, I will never forget."
"Good. As long as you remember. What? Still not giving up?" Gao Qi narrowed her eyes at his dark face. "Or do you want another lesson like last time at Haitian Pavilion?"
"You—" Just hearing the words "Haitian Pavilion" nearly drove Cai Yu insane. He sneered coldly, "You think this is Haitian Pavilion?"
"Hey, beauty, watch your mouth." Shi Tonghui finally realized something was wrong. Cai Yu clearly knew these three women and one man—but not in a friendly way.
A chance to show off had come. He'd been waiting for a chance to impress these wealthy young masters.
Gao Qi turned her gaze from Cai Yu to Shi Tonghui and snorted, "Who are you? Did anyone say you could speak?"
"Oh-ho!" Shi Tonghui blinked. This woman was fiery—beautiful, sexy, and aggressive. Just his type.
He glanced at Xu Danlu and Yang Fei, swallowing hard. Three stunning beauties—one for each of them. Perfect.
Without thinking, he reached out to grab Gao Qi's chest.
"Little girl, do you know who I am—ow—!"
Before he touched Gao Qi, he felt a flash before his eyes—a sharp pain in his stomach—and his body curled like a fried shrimp, flying backward and slamming onto the floor.
Thud!
He clutched his stomach, unable to get up, staring in disbelief. 'This woman knows martial arts?!'
"What the hell are you staring at?!" Shi Tonghui yelled at his two grey-suited bodyguards. "Beat her!"
One rushed to help him up, while the other charged at Gao Qi without hesitation, swinging a kick.
Whoosh! Before the kick landed, Gao Qi swept her leg at his support ankle. The smooth marble floor did the rest—he slid, his left leg slipping back, his raised right leg flying forward in a full split…
Riiiip! His pants split open instantly, and his crotch slammed hard into the cold marble.
"Waaaugh!" He curled up, rolling on the ground clutching his groin.
Cai Yu turned to stone. 'This… this big-boobed Gao Qi fights THIS well?!' Instinctively, he took a small step away.
After flooring two strong men with ease, Gao Qi herself was stunned. She had trained with Lulu after learning Lulu knew martial arts—but somehow the techniques felt naturally familiar to her.
She hadn't realized she was this strong. Two tall, muscular men defeated so easily?
Seeing them writhing on the ground, she felt a mix of shock and delight. 'Wow… I'm amazing.'
Seeing his men in agony, Shi Tonghui turned pale. He quickly whispered to his other bodyguard, "Hurry up—call someone!"
The man instantly whipped out his phone and made frantic calls.
Shi Tonghui wasn't idle either—he clutched his stomach, stood up, pointed at Gao Qi, and roared, "Bitch! Are you looking for death? Do you kn—don't you come near me!"
Seeing Gao Qi tilt her head, he panicked and backed up. "You know who I am?! I'll make you beg for mercy—no one will save you!"
"If you know what's good for you, kneel down now, kowtow a few times, and spend the night with me, maybe I'll—"
But when he saw Gao Qi walking toward him unhurriedly, he shivered and darted toward the hotel entrance. "Just you wait—!"
But seeing Young Master Shen and Cai Yu behind him, he felt embarrassed to run. So he circled around and hid behind Cai Yu. Cai Yu had good skills—surely he wouldn't just watch him die.
Cai Yu looked at him hiding behind him and cursed internally—'Shit! You're dragging me into this on purpose!'
"Miss, you're going too far." The tall man with white-framed glasses finally spoke. He and Shi Tonghui were influential in Shangyan City. Cai Yu was a guest from the capital—he wouldn't interfere. But as a local young master himself, he couldn't stand by while they were beaten by a young beauty.
Especially Shi Tonghui—he wished he could crawl into a hole. Moments ago he'd been bullying the receptionist. Now he was a turtle hiding behind someone else.
"What? You want a beating too?" Gao Qi glanced at Zhang Yang—seeing no disapproval, only encouragement—her confidence grew. 'Husband approves.'
"Hmph, with those measly moves, you think you can fight me?" Young Master Shen scoffed. "Miss, my name is Shen Ke, deputy district chief of Jianxin District. I advise you to apologize to my friend. There is still room for reconciliation…"
Seeing Cai Yu's expression, Shen Ke guessed he might be hiding something, so he wanted to keep things from escalating.
"Pfft, who do you think you are? Just because you're wearing white, you think you're Psy? Look closely—you look more like you're dressed for a funeral." Gao Qi sneered. "Tell that tacky idiot with the earrings to apologize to my sister—or I'll beat you too."
"Wha—" Shen Ke nearly fainted from rage. In all of Shangyan City—hell, in all of Southeast Province—nobody had ever spoken to him like that.
"Bitch, you're really pushing it!" Shen Ke exploded. With a twist of his body, he dramatically flung off his coat.
Then he tossed it aside with flair.
He took a stride forward and threw a punch straight at Gao Qi's face—clearly intending to teach her a painful lesson.
From that punch alone, it was obvious he also had martial arts training—his fist cut through the air with force.
Gao Qi panicked slightly, but danger triggered the techniques buried in her memory.
Shen Ke's fierce punch forced her back one step, but he didn't hit her. She twisted her body, dodging the strike. Her full breasts bounced under her tight black sportswear, drawing his gaze.
Shen Ke had a chance to follow up with another punch—maybe even hit her— but when he saw her voluptuous curves, his thoughts shifted…
