Luciano groaned in frustration as he squinted his eyes trying to see better. It was futile though so he ended up sitting back down in the pile of leaves he had gotten up from.
'I guess it'll be better if i just wait here till its morning. Don't want to literally wander into unseen land' he thought crossing his legs casually while closing his eyes and resting back on a tree with his arms folded behind his head.
His moment of peace was disturbed when the familiar sound of rapid footsteps reached his ears which twitched in response. His eyes flew open filled with alertness and he squinted to try and see who or what it was that was coming.
Realizing what he was doing would probably be futile, Luciano chuckled shaking his head before resolving to simply stare at the direction the sound was coming from intently.
His brown eyes faded so that it was now pale and Luciano found himself seeing better.
"Fog must be clearing up" he muttered as he waited for the approaching unknown to arrive. He didn't have to wait long though because as soon as he had muttered those words, a tall dark furred wolf jumped into the clearing from the bushes on his left side startling Luciano who had been staring in the wrong direction.
His head whipped to the side and watched as the wolf limped over to a tree at the other end of the clearing, its left hind leg dripping with blood before collapsing on the ground.
Luciano's eyes were wide with excitement and astonishment as he watched the big fox treat itself, licking its injured leg until it stopped bleeding.
Once rested, the wolf looked up suddenly in the direction she had come from as if alerted of some danger and Luciano, who was still unconsciously staring at it was graced with the sight of the wolf's forehead.
Of course it was bigger than in his memories, time had passed so she must have grown, but he would never mistake or not recognise that beautiful wolf with jet black fur, the large crescent on its forehead that glowed white under the moonlight simply confirmed his suspicion and he couldn't help the gasp that escaped his lips.
The wolf's ears, however, twitched in response and he realized how sensitive its hearing was, instantly regretting his carelessness.
The wolf, which he had now confirmed to be his childhood crush of ten years, let out a low growl as her head snapped in his direction. She slowly but gradually began to morph into human form, its painful and gory looking process causing Luciano to flinch.
He stared intently at the transformation process as it somehow felt like a rite of passage of some sort to him and was jolted back to reality by the loud snapping sound produced.
Luciano hadn't met a werewolf before but he could tell that his crush had let her guard down and planned to use this to his advantage so he, with his pride still intact, stealthily crawled in clockwise direction to be in her blind spot.
She appeared hurt so he didn't want to scare her and decided to whisper once he was right behind her. Wrong move.
"Hey wolfie" he whispered startling the wolf girl so much that she jerked in the wrong direction bumping against the tree as she glared at him baring her canines.
Luciano was too occupied oggling the gorgeous beauty that was the female wolf's human form. With her long waist length hair sticking to her sweaty body contrasting greatly with her pale skin and her arms and legs glistening with a more reddish hue, he was mesmerized.
He would have literally taken a whiff of her just to see if she looked as good as she smelt if she hadn't jumped away.
Luna reacted almost instantly as she got on all fours in a crouching position and jumped away from him.
Her canines flashed dangerously as she growled and Luciano raised his palms In a surrendering manner making her more on edge than calm.
"Hey hey hey, I'm not going to hurt you okay? Chill" he said in a cool voice trying to coax her as he kept walking towards her, surprising the female wolf.
She hadn't expected a superior wolf like him to speak to her so rationally after she had trespassed his territory.
'except, it's a trap!' she concluded in her mind, eyes instantly widening and glowing a faint amber color as she lifted her right hand to release her claws.
"Woah! Damn, that's amazing!" Luciano gasped in awe as he stared at the claw, his survival instincts completely dead in that moment.
Luna was left feeling conflicted once again as she stared at the suspicious looking alpha in the body of a man-boy. At the time she was being chased, she almost got caught save for the fact that this wolf's presence was suddenly felt.
It was faint but upon hearing the loud howl that was released, her pursuers were momentarily hesitant not wanting to trespass a superior wolf's territory and she was able to escape.
She had left two of them fatally injured but she herself was seriously injured so she wouldn't have been able to escape otherwise. The others took their injured friends and left her thinking the wolf owning the territory would deal with her either way.
Now a man or boy, she could not tell as his image seemed like that of a man but his disposition was that of a boy, stood in front of her marvelling at the simple blaring of claws that she did
'Is he perhaps human? If so, why is he alive? No, he is obviously responsible for that howl earlier' she stopped her train of thoughts when she noticed he was getting closer. Just as Luciano thought he would get close, the lady jumped at him swiftly swinging her claw.
He had thought at most he'd get scratched as he tried to dodge but amazingly, he was faster and even captured her wrists in one hand.
He spinned her round so she was backing him and pressed her hands to his chest marveling at their height difference for a moment.
"Hey, let go of me, let go!" she growled angrily as she still attempted scratching him despite being captured.
"Just stay still" Luciano muttered trying harder to restrain her but she started to kick out her legs while releasing girlish grunt making it harder for him.
"I said" he started as he held onto her wrists tighter and brought them down behind her back
"stop struggling!" He growled fiercely, voice deepening and eyes flashing white fr a second finally shutting Luna up and making her docile.
He huffed pulling her closer to himself "Good" he muttered finally having time to consider his situation. The more he thought about it, the more Luciano found himself getting excited
'Oh my goodness, the woman of my dreams is in my arms right now and it's not a dream! Her wrists are softer than I assumed they'd be, how can a wolf woman have such a sexy body?!' his thoughts were running wild and he unconsciously nuzzled his nose in her hair
'So soft' he thought before pausing suddenly making Luna alert and confused as she sort of liked the way he scented her- against her will of course.
"You're naked" he muttered his voice rumbling and sending a shiver down Luna's spine. Luciano felt her legs wobble beneath her against him and he frowned.
'Yeah, no shit sherlock' she thought rollig her eyes as she tried to hide her reaction by appearing sassy.
'Huh, maybe she's cold' he thought eyes going down her body then back up and so we come back to how the story began, with Luciano awfully excited, a little worried and Luna a bit weirded out.
