Seraiya's eyes snapped open but they were no longer the beautiful gold they once were. At this moment they were blood red.
"Seraiya!" Zack said looking down at her with tears in his eyes.
Seraiya went to speak but she couldn't. A hunger she had never felt before surged throughout her body. "She needs blood" Daemon said simply, as he steped forward.
"Like human blood?" Maddie asked with a look of concern.
Daemons right pointer finger suddenly turned into a large sharp claw. "Not necessarily" he said as he used his claw and cut his wrist open.
Damien was still frozen in place as he could only watch. Daemon kneeled to Seraiya and placed his wrist in front of her mouth. "Drink" he told her. She didn't hesitate. She quickly began to suck the blood that came out of his wrist. She hated every second of it. But one day she would grow used to it.
After a moment daemon pulled his wrist out of her mouth. "How are you feeling?" He asked as Seraiya finally sat up. "Different" she said simply. "Let me help you up" Zack said as they both stood.
Seraiya looked at Damien before turning to Serena. "What's next?" Seraiya asked seriously. Serena looked around. "I think it best we talk in private" Serena told her. Seraiya nodded. "Kyra do you mind finding my mother?" She asked. "Sure" Kyra said simply before walking over to Damien and pulling him to the side. "Zack do you mind?" She asked gesturing to Maddie."he shook his head and finally let go of Seraiya.
Seraiya and Serena walked away until they believed they were far enough out of reach.
"Now that you have become the tribrid I think it's time you know the truth" Serena told. "What truth?" Seraiya asked.
"The gods aren't after you as a whole" Serena said. "What does that mean?" Seraiya asked. "Though it's true most of the gods are bored and whatever plays out here on earth is entertaining to them, there is one god in particular that has been causing trouble in the mortal realm for sometime"
"How do you know this?" Seraiya asked. "Because she came to me a long time ago wanting the fates to follow her will"
Seraiya turned away unsure of what to think. "Why are you telling me this?" She asked.
"She's responsible for my husband's death" Serena said making Seraiya turn to look at her again. "You were married?" She asked.
"His name was Ben" Serena said with a light smile. "He was the love of my life..."
"When she first came to me telling me what she wanted I denied her, I told her no, I refused at every turn" Serena said. "But she had ways to fight me and though I fought back... In the end she took Ben from me" Serena explained. "I decided at that moment that I would get revenge but the only way to do that was to follow her will until I could find someone strong enough to kill her" she told Seraiya.
"Why not tell anyone else? Why do this completely alone?" Seraiya questioned. "I did, but when they got to close they either got hurt or died and I couldn't let anyone else die for my revenge" Serena said. "Because even if they heard all of this... The only thing Stronger than fear is rage" she answered.
"So all this time... Everything you did... It was all lies?" She asked. "Good lies" Serena told her. "To protect everyone I care about"
"They need to know the truth... They need to know your not on their side" Seraiya said referring to everyone waiting for them to return.
"Do they?" Serena asked. "I don't think they do"
"I've played the villain for this long, I can handle it a while longer"
"So what's your big plan?" Seraiya asked. "How do you plan to defeat a god?"
"With you" Serena answered. "You may not realize it yet but the power you hold inside you rivals hers" she said. "Its why she wanted someone she could control to hold the power of the Tribrid"
"Your saying I'm like a god?" Seraiya asked. "And Incase you forgot gods can't die" she said. "The only reason Alvira died was because she wasn't a real god" she added.
"That is true, and something I did forgot about momentarily" she said. "If you can't kill a god there is one other thing you can do" Serena added.
"You can take her power away and redistribute it amoung all the living things on the planet... in taking her power you will be sealing her away, and it could take her potentially hundreds or even thousands of years before she comes back" Serena said.
"This plan of yours is as idiotic as it comes" Seraiya said. "That may be true" Serena replied. "But I think deep down even you know it's the only way.
Seraiya turned away for a moment and thought. Serena wasn't just smart she was a powerful witch and the matriarch of her coven. She was also a person that had been planning her revenge for at least 22 years.
This probably was the only real way to stop this God once and for all. "Does this God have a name?" Seraiya asked. "Axes" Serena answered. "She is known as the queen of God's" she added. "Only one god has ever disagreed with her"
"Selene I presume?" Seraiya asked. Serena nodded.
Seraiya let out a heavy and deep breath. Not that she needed to. "Alright" Seraiya said finally turning back to Serena who had only been observing her movements. "How do we lure Axes to earth or the mortal realm or whatever they call it here? And how do we keep her suspecting anything in the first place?" Seraiya asked as simply as she could.
"I'll handle that part" Serena told her. "All you have to do is be ready to take her power" Serena added.
