After an unknown amount of time, Katarina finally opened her eyes.
The moment she did, her body gave out beneath her, and she collapsed to her knees as overwhelming fatigue crashed down on her. Erasing even a portion of the time law had been far from easy. She had labored for hours, pushing herself to her limits, and in the end, she had only managed to permanently remove about fifteen percent of it.
'Luckily… it can't regenerate.'
That single fact was the only thing preventing her efforts from feeling entirely futile.
Her breathing was uneven as she steadied herself, one hand pressed against the ground. Slowly, she lifted her head and turned her gaze toward Sai.
