"Don't ever attack your brothers with such intent. If you want to be angry, be angry at yourself for being weak." He said calmly.
His strong voice traveled a great distance effortlessly. His long orange hair began to glow as it raised up floating.
"And you two come with me."
They walked away, out of Taylen's hearing range. They're father looked at them and smiled.
"Lay off on the jokes for now, I think we've stirred a real fire in him, well that cursed boy did anyway. "
"Father, is it true you gave Damon, I mean that street rat the opportunity to join the academy."
" Yes, I did so for Taylen's sake. To see the cursed kid every day until he graduated was supposed to be his punishment, i know my son well."
"That grudge he's holding against him will fester. It'll make him grow, just look at him now. He's twice as strong as he was three weeks and half ago and that's what occurs when you have a true rival."
"A true rival, come on, dont you think you're taking this a bit too serious. Yea father that rain kid power is weak he only got the best of Taylen because Taylen played around too much." Luke and Duke said.
"How did I raise two foolish sons, never underestimate your opponent off of their abilities or their backgrounds. That boy has strange powers and with my experience those are the ones that causes the most problems. He survived all those years on the streets among beast waves."
"Well, it's no problem now, It's no way he'll make it back alive. Yea I agree, we heard they were sent to the wrong planet, a possible red gate at that. Chances are, their lunch meat by now. " Luke and Duke said with laughter.
They're father looked at them in disgust and shame before walking off.
"Perhaps, but something tells me he's alive, he's with Malcolm Hughes son and another boy who is a promising graduate. If he is alive on such a planet, I wouldn't be surprised if he has gotten stronger as well."
The city head eyes lit up like a swelling fire and a mischievous smile emerged. " If that occurs, oh what a rival he will be. He will push Taylen to even greater heights, after all Taylen has the will to be my successor." He thought continuing to walk away.
[Nuka's home.]
"Damon wake up."
"Whyyyy, It feels like I just closed my eyes." He said in a groggy manner.
"I just saw a large iron bird."
"An iron bird, What are you talking about." He mumbled with his eyes still shut.
"It was flying in the night sky leaving trails of light behind it."
Damon eyes shot open, getting up, he ran out looking up. He could see it, but barely. It was a ship, a very large one at that, at least the size of a football field.
"There here, they actually came for us." He shouted with excitement.
"Who, what are you talking about?"
"That's not a iron bird. It's a ship."
"I never heard of a beast called a ship."
"It's not a beast, it's my people, the human race."
Nuka looked up at the ship not completely understanding.
"I thought you travel by gate ports."
"Yes, yes that's true we do, but we can also travel by a ship through space. It's technology."
Seeing the way Nuka was looking at him he knew she didn't understand.
"It's technology, really advanced technology. It's a form of creativity and knowledge in a way. It's something my race depends on heavily. You guys are far from that."
Damon was beyond ecstatic, jumping around like a little boy on a trampoline basking in mounds of candy.
"You can take me to them, with your speed, it'll be nothing to catch up with them. You can drop me off a little distance away." He said grabbing onto Nuka's hand.
Nuka looked at him for a moment with gloomy eyes as if she didn't want him to leave when a repetitive voice echoed in her head.
"Let it play out, don't try and change anything." The voice said, which was Arabi from a few nights ago.
The ship vanished from their view, but considering the direction it was headed. He knew they must have gotten their previous location as it was heading towards home base.
Seconds after the ship vanished, something else much smaller came into view flying much lower. It was coming from the far right below the night clouds.
"Hey Nuka, what's that." He asked with deep blue electricity pulsating in his eyes. He could see a great distance and had discovered with oculus he could also see the natural body heat of living matter that produce a life sign, however whatever was flying was at a much greater distance than oculus could interpret.
With Nuka's sharp eyes she could see a much greater distance than oculus. She was looking at it calmly at first, but then the energy around her changed and her eyes darkened with intention.
"They've found me. Stay here and wake up Nexas, here, take this and hide. Kaiva, come." She said without hesitation.
Nuka's body changed into the ape beast and she began climbing up the tree disappearing with kaiva the mirage panther right behind her.
A few minutes later loud screeching was heard as a white light flashed across the night sky. The trees began swaying shaking the house. Damon had gotten Nexas out of bed and they were quietly hiding when a loud thump hit the top of the roof followed by a thunderous crash.
The second Nuka instructed him of what to do, he knew it was serious and sprung into action without question.
Everything fell silent for a moment, but soon they could hear rumbling in one of the rooms like someone was throwing things and moving furniture out of their way.
They knew something or someone was inside, with Damons increased sense of smell, he knew it wasn't Nuka as the smell of mud and dirty water filled his nose. It almost smelled like a swamp.
Damon tightened his grip around the white obsidian shard Nuka handed him before she left and Pushed Nexas behind him. Electricity crackled in his eyes and around his hands as his heart rate increased nervously.
They were hiding within the panther cubs cage like room that had a small hatch log door. The door blended in with the make of the home disguising it very well. Besides the obvious little makeshift latch on the door, it wasn't noticeable at all. The space itself wasn't very big, but large enough for them and the cubs to hide in without being bunched up.
Damon watched carefully through a small hole in the hatch with anticipation while also wondering where the hell was Nuka.
Stepping from around the corner and entering the room was a large reptilian humanoid beast with night black wings that were folded on its back.

"Mmmmm. Now what are you, you smell scrumptious, could it be foreign meat." It said dragging its eyes across the room.
"You're hiding, but I can smellllll youuuuuuu."
It's voice was deep and sounded as if it was belching and talking at the same time, with every few words, a slight hiss could be heard.
"You don't have to come out, I enjoy a good hunt." It said swatting the leaf bed into a wall with its large gator tail.
The sound of the crashing bed slapping the wall made one of the cubs growl lightly. The beast gator head flicked to the right revealing red smoldering eyes that burned with lust.
It was dark, but with oculus, Damon had no issues seeing the beast, he immediately closed his eyes hoping it didn't see the blue glow of his iris as it looked down in they're direction, but he wasn't fast enough.
The winged gator disappeared with frightening speed, and then the small hatch was ripped off, making Damon and Nexas crawl backwards in a panic almost trampling two of the cubs.
Damons hand crackled and Lightning shot from his palms striking it in the face, but it only made it take a step back.
"That kinda stings." It said with a smile showing its many rows of teeth.
It's wings shot out spreading wide making it become even more intimidating as it's tail swayed back and forth cutting into the floor with its hard scales.
The little orange cub ran out the hatch leaping and attacking the winged gator feet.
"Rar,rar,rar." It aggressively growled while biting the beast who didn't pay its attempt no mind.
With a kick the orange cub went flying and crashing into the wall creating a muffled, but still loud crack. Using static jump, a charge of electricity surged through Damon reaching his legs. He shot out the hatch surrounding one fist in lightening and with the other pulled back the white obsidian shard.
"You bastaaaaard."
He released 10,000 volts point blank to its chest, he then spun low to the ground twisting to the backside of the beast, jumping up with the shard slashing upward. With a single burst from its wings it evaded the obsidian blade.
The next moment it was grabbing Damon by the throat.
"Too fast, I couldn't even see it move." He thought struggling to breath.
He swung the shard aiming for its neck when the beasts wing shot up knocking his arm back breaking it with one swing. The shard dropped to the ground and Nexas ran towards it but was stopped by a piercing look and growl from the beast as if saying don't move.
"Whatever you are, you're fragile. Mmmmm. That means your flesh must be tender."
The beast opened its jaws and Damon could literally see down its throat. Its teeth were three inches long and coned shaped. He could feel the pressure of its swampy breath as it's toungue jolted slightly in anticipation of tasting Damon's fresh flesh.
A surge of electricity engulf them both as Damon tried to make him let go, it crawled, scattered and popped all over the beast who just brushed it off like it was nothing. Multiple Cloud swords appeared, stabbing at it's hard scale body and simply broke, they poofed back into clouds disappearing into nothingness when contacting its extremely hard layer of spiky skin.
Thinking it was all over, he was about to close his eyes and accept a horrific death when the jaws of the winged gator was smacked shut as a white bushy tail wrapped around his neck making him drop Damon to the floor. It flapped its wings wildly trying to break free, but failed.
Kaiva leaped forward biting into its stomach as Nuka held it up, her claws dug deep into its waist as she began to pull. Its gator tail swung with force, but was effortlessly stopped by another one of Nuka's tails.
The beast screamed and growled as it's flesh and intestines were being ripped out. Damon was catching his breath on the floor watching Kaiva rip and eat the beast alive as Nuka held it up, A sinister frown was plastered on Nukas face that made Damons core shiver.
It felt like minutes, but it was merely seconds before the bottom half of the beast hit the floor. Complete silence drifted in the air and Nuka pulled off its head slinging it out a window.
Her tail stabbed into its torso pulling out a beast core just before both halves of its body followed its head. Nexas ran up to Nuka hugging her while Damon flicked out an Elixer with wide eyes still out of breath.
A loud purr mixed with a roar that sounded like a crying beast was heard off to the side. Turning around kaiva was nudging the little orange cub, but it wasn't moving.
Finally getting up and walking over with moist eyes Damon asked for kaiva's permission to touch him. Nodding her head he picked the cub up and knew it was dead. He couldn't use an Elixer on it like he did with Nexas.
He had to explain why he couldn't help the cub. They knew he had saved Nexas before and after listening they just remained silent.
Nuka blamed herself, the beast that killed the cub was one she knocked out the air and it came crashing down right where they were.
Damon recalled his memories with the cub and thanked him for his courage when he received a notification.
[Low matured mirage panther core obtained.]
Damon blinked a couple times as a huge smile formed across his face. It was slim chances low matured beasts had developed beast cores, but seeing it meant his auto harvest skill took its core after he picked it up.
They all looked at Damon seeing the happiness in his eyes all of a sudden and knew he had something up his sleeve. Kaiva was very smart and could determine emotions and language easily, but she could not speak.
He Informed them he had a way, but the cub would have to stay with him and would possibly have different features. He mainly explained it to kaiva as it was her baby.
She understood and nodded in agreement, Damon knew she just wanted to see her baby alive again. The other ones were fine and remained hidden until Nexas pushed them out the broken hatch.
Damon took out the cubs core and clouds surrounded it as it disappeared.
[Core manipulation time for this low matured beast is 30 minutes.]
"Yes " that's not too long. He had a hunch it would take no time because of its low maturity, but still thought it would be at least a few hours, but he was wrong and happy to be wrong this time."
They patiently waited while Nuka kept watch, she had informed them that they were already surrounded high and low, and that some beasts were just simply waiting as she could feel them all around, within a 300 meter radious of the area and closing in slowly.
When it was done he released the cub, Its core appeared with clouds as it formed. Damon wisped away it's old body making it seem like it was apart of the process.
The cub was now white with sapphire blue eyes and had sapphire blue patterns in the shape of small clouds. All of their eyes lit up and Nuka couldn't stop looking at Damon as she was in disbelief.
"You're right Arabi, this plan just may work." She thought.
The cub immediately went to Damon playfully licking him and chewing on his boots. Kaiva walked up slowly to the cub, but the cub turned around on guard showing its little sharp teeth.
"Be calm, that's your mother."
The cub looked at kaiva for a minute before trotting over and climbing up her huge paws licking her. Kaiva leaned her head down rubbing it against the cub gently.
Nexas hugged Damon while telling him how amazing he was. Nuka agreed giving him a hug as well. She handed him the white obsidian shard and the beast core she took from the winged gator.
"You can keep this, you may need it. Those were scouts and the rest are only minutes away.
"Wait, how did they find us."
Nuka looked at him with uncertainty, but Damon could see the hurt in her eyes. He had saw it many times in his world and it was the look of being betrayed.
"Arabi."
Nuka said nothing which gave Damon his confirmation. He tightened his fists while trying to think why now out of all the times would he give up her position.
"All of you must leave, Damon, you said your world could help. Go to your people and please take Nexas with you. "
"Wait, what are you going to do."
"I'm going to clear you all a path."
"But Nuka my people will not accept Nexas. They'll take her from me or kill her, I can't."
Nuka hugged Damon and Nexas as a few tears ran down her face.
"You must make them see her worth and that she's not a threat. I believe in you Damon. You'll figure it out, Nexas, I love you, protect each other, always. She said as her expression changed to a more serious one.
She got up grabbing the bone spear, Kaiva had got her cubs placing them in front of Damon. He looked at her for a moment and gave her a hug.
"I'll do my best to keep them safe. " He whispered placing his head against her smooth coat.
Kaiva placed a paw around him for a second and licked his face before going to Nuka's side.
"I promise Nuka, I promise to protect Nexas."
"And I promise to protect Damon." Nexas said standing beside him.
Ding!
[Urgent! All daily tasks have been paused due to your current situation. You must escape the calamity heading your way. Failure will mean certain death.]
Nuka smiled at them before saying.
"Take care of eachother."
With those words Nuka jumped off the bridge heading down. Damon didn't have time to think about what was happening. He took out both interference cloaks, giving one to Nexas. He wisped the white cub away and grabbed the other two cubs while Nexas took the last one.
