Chapter 1167 - Immortal Lotus - Seeing a Prophecy Coming True!

Avalon.

There was absolute silence within the Immortal Lotus' White Tower.

In the domed hall, around the round table, the Six sat, looking at the massive crystal globe suspended between them that showcased various scenes.

There was a scene replaying the event of Ultramarines slaughtering Voldemort's army.

There was a scene of the Hogwarts Grounds, the Black Death claiming lives here and there.

Then some scenes didn't revolve around an event, but people — Darcie Malfoy, Arlen Black, Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Draco Malfoy, Daphne Greengrass, Hermione Granger, and other most noticeable members of the Order of the Black Phoenix.

Surprisingly, none of the major Characters had died, despite the War entering its third hour.

It wasn't a surprise to the Six, though.

All such Characters enjoyed a timeline's providence.

As long as they weren't close to their natural deaths as per the storyline, destiny itself would find a way to help them.

With that destiny stemming from the Bubble itself, it wasn't like the Six could do anything about it, either.

However, there was a limit to how far destiny's lucky hands' could reach as well.

Sooner or later, these Characters would start experiencing misfortune, succumbing to death.

Once it began, it would only be a matter of time before it spread across the world, claiming the lives of these Characters, truly injuring the Mirror Timeline, and ruining its chances of becoming a Pillar.

That's where the Six's greatest dilemma lay.

They could dispense with almost all Characters from the Mirror timeline.

However, the children, who had remained the center of the greatest divergences in the history of the Bubble, gaining special, abnormal abilities, must be saved.

Especially Darcie.

They had allowed the Pillars to attack the Mirror timeline on the very condition that no harm must come to her.

Even the Black Death Spell was designed so that it couldn't hurt a hair on her body.

Darcie didn't know that, though.

So, the Crystal Globe displayed the scene of her surpassing her abilities to prepare an antidote with Snape and Slughorn as soldiers, wielding the weapons crafted by fusing Muggle technology with Magic, sacrificed their lives to buy them time.

That was good as well.

Let her carry on with this futile effort.

At least, in that way, she would not go out and make a mess somewhere else.

As long as most of the major Characters ended up dead, it didn't matter if a few survived.

The idea was to hurt the Mirror Timeline enough so that She would never risk a Karmic Dissolution to become a Pillar in fear of falling to the Key status, instead.

But the Pillars had obviously refused those selective assassinations.

They were thirsting for revenge all this while. It was hard to convince them otherwise with the Pillar Timeline backing their behavior. Moreover, going against Her wasn't good for the Order of the Immortal Lotus now that they had already chosen a side.

"The only thing that can still hurt us is Karmic Backlash," Merlin reminded them, breaking the shameful silence. "Theoretically, we have only acted against a Contestant, trapping him between worlds. Dumbledore, Voldemort, and Ekrizdis just happened to be with him. But this is a loophole that Yellow Warlock can exploit. We must not let him escape the trap."

The Witch of Endor continued to look toward the people who had died to her Spell as if she had taken a vow of silence.

King Solomon took a deep breath, stepping up in her place. "Let's send the two women there," he suggested. "That will leave the two Vaults unguarded, but only Yellow Warlock is seeking Herpo the Foul's Horcruxes. What does it matter where he faces them? In fact, perhaps, teaming up would let them finally get rid of that pest?"

The two 12th-floor Contestants had already gained the ability to walk freely after the Mirror timeline's Overall Grade had increased to B+.

Now, they didn't need to keep themselves sealed any longer.

The only reason they hadn't initiated a fight against Yellow Warlock right after that momentous occasion was that the Six hadn't given them a nod.

No matter how proud the two women seemed in their abilities to take down Yellow Warlock, the Six still remembered the various rumors they had heard about Contestant Red.

This man was the most unhinged Contestant they had met in their lives.

Who knew what he would end up doing if he found himself cornered?

No Contestant just went to a Fate Bubble, spread chaos, and remained alive… much less came out as the sole winner of a Great Holy Grail War against another Glitched 12th Floor Contestant.

The Six had feared the loss of lives on the scale of billions.

And all that Karmic Backlash would have fallen upon them.

But now that they had already abandoned the Mirror timeline…

Also, the Yellow Warlock wasn't in the Mirror timeline, per se.

Not only could the two 12th Floor Contestants let themselves loose against him, but… they could also take care of Voldemort and Ekrizdis simultaneously as well.

"I agree," Circe said.

Hermes and Abdul Alhazred nodded as well.

"I will contact Darth Kars and see if he is willing to participate as well," Merlin said. "For now, he and the Contestant from the White Serpent Pirates are in a lockdown outside the planet. We will need to send Pillar Voldemort to occupy Red Sun for a while."

King Solomon and others nodded at that.

"No sign of any cross-dimensional portal, right?" Hermes asked, looking toward the Yellow Seat.

Abdul Alhazred shook his head.

"The Immortal Lotus Array is absolute," King Solomon said strongly. "Yellow Warlock cannot contact anyone, much less bring his followers from outside the Bubble. Today, we will get rid of him for good. It's… sad that it's happening now… like this. But we must live by our choices, no matter how cruel they may seem. For the greater good of our Bubble, the Immortal Lotus must bloom seven times with seven colors. Do not forget that."

All remained quiet.

Because they knew toward whom the Purple Seat had directed his wisdom.

The Witch of Endor stared at the various scenes displayed by the Crystal Globe, blood and screams and pain lingering everywhere.

Slowly, she looked up, her blackish-green ghostly gaze landing on all of her fellow Imperishable existences.

"Death…" the Witch of Endor said, making the Artifacts shudder. "… Destruction. Madness. Doom."
