I felt my body was gravely injured, but the darkness still surrounded me.
Why is darkness always encircling me? Why do I always feel that death is the closest thing to me?
Why is there this silence? Where is the noise and the loud sounds? Why do I always feel lonely? Why am I always alone?
Is it because I kill everyone around me? Is it because I am a criminal? Why am I alone?
I don't trust anyone.
In my real world,
Anyone who tried to get close to me, I killed them.
Except for her.
Yes, her.
She was the only one I left alive. I didn't assault her either, even though she was the only one I desired intensely.
Her skin was very white, her eyes were black, and she had beautiful black hair that seemed to flutter in the sky.
When I saw her in front of me, I felt like I was listening to a beautiful, gentle symphony played by the piano.
I couldn't control myself. Everything disappeared; only she and I remained.
But why was she so shocked? What was wrong with the scene? Were my clothes disheveled?
Or was it because of the blood on my hands? Or the knife that pierced the heart of the man sitting at my feet?
Why was she shocked? Why did that angelic face look so shocked?
I pulled out the dagger and approached her.
When I got close to her, she was trembling, so I threw the knife away.
I sat in front of her, in a romantic scene I had seen in a movie, kneeling on my knees.
I said to her in a calm voice after wiping my hands on my clothes to remove the blood,
"I love you."
Yes, I loved her from the first sight. Nothing else happened to me except love. There was no other definition. Love filled my heart. I wanted her, and I didn't want to have her without her will.
She was still shocked.
I think she thought to herself, "What a lunatic."
But I didn't care. Really, I didn't care. I just wanted her to know that I loved her. I didn't care about anything else.
But she looked at me and smiled, the shock disappearing from her face.
I think this girl understood the reality of this miserable world and saw my ugly truth.
So she said in a quiet voice,
"I'm sorry, I don't share the same feelings."
I let her go. I didn't think I would meet her again in the future.
When I opened my eyes and the darkness around me disappeared,
I found the black lion lying on the ground with a giant spider eating its entrails.
And I was lying on the ground, my body covered in blood.
Before me,
That damned spider had killed the lion and attacked me, thinking I was dead. It decided to eat the lion first and then move on to me.
"Status,"
"Sky Spider"
Level 50
Ability: "Sky Web"
This spider is really strong. It is now at the intermediate level of monsters. This is the first monster I will fight at this level.
It hasn't noticed me yet, so I decided to launch a surprise attack to finish this battle quickly.
I whispered,
"Warrior's Cry,"
"Earth Serpent."
A large serpent emerged from the ground and sank its fangs into the giant spider's body.
"Extreme Speed."
I rushed towards the spider.
"Cutting Strike."
But something unexpected happened. The spider spat out numerous strong webs from its mouth, creating a barrier between us, preventing me from attacking it with the cutting strike.
"Mana Swords."
I created many swords and shattered the web barrier.
The serpent was still latched onto the spider, draining its energy.
The spider became frantic and spewed more webs at me.
"Illusion."
Suddenly, I was behind the spider.
"Iris Strike."
I hit it, pushing it away from me. The spider was stunned by what was happening, so I quickly moved.
"Shadow Steps."
I suddenly appeared behind it.
"Swift Sword."
I cut off its eight legs and plunged my sword into its head, sitting in complete silence.
As I killed it, I was absorbing its energy.
So the notification appeared before me as I expected.
"Level Up."
I leaned against the tree with the dead spider in front of me, smiling at the outcome of this easy battle.
But as I rejoiced,
I sensed a great danger.
Suddenly, over 35 giant spiders appeared before me, surrounding me completely. I looked around; I didn't think I could kill them all or escape.
So I smiled.
There was no solution but to summon my dear corpses.
"Summon," I thought of that word.
But a red notification appeared before me,
"You cannot summon the dark corpses as they are currently evolving. Two hours remaining."
What?!
