Upon hearing this, the soldier looked Wesley up and down again, his expression still revealing a look of suspicion.
"Blue?"
"Yup!"
Wesley nodded heavily and continued, "Anyway, I've answered. If you don't believe me, there's nothing I can do."
Wesley didn't want to reveal that he had awakened a black Beast Taming Space right now. Since he was the only one who knew, he could say whatever he wanted.
As for why Wesley ultimately claimed to have awakened a blue Beast Taming Space, it was partly to show someone, and partly because as the big brother of the little fatty, his Beast Taming Talent had to be a cut above his.
"Wesley, awakened blue Beast Taming Space, Beast Taming Talent: Superior!"
After the soldier announced this, he wrote a big question mark next to Wesley's name on the awakening list.
"Blue space, Superior talent! Doesn't that mean it's the same as School Beauty Diana's Beast Taming Talent? Another genius Beast Master!"
